That´s what the administrator toldme when I gave my complaint in the desk. During the winter shuttoff the heater? I don´t know, but we should know this information in advance before booking. Usually, in our case got there around midnight, after dinner and found this situation in summer!, very annoying for me, maybe for others not big deal, but for... More

Our tour guide uses this hotel for his guided tours. This location would not have been our first choice being so far from the Champs de Elysee. However, this hotel provided a nice exposure to another neighborhood of Paris we might not have otherwise found. We found interesting neighborhoods, shops, and restaurants to explore. Yes, the rooms are small and... More

My partner and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel for a long weekend in Paris. We arrived at Gare du Nord train station on the Eurostar, and it was a 20 minute walk to the hotel. There is another Mercure hotel around the corner from this one that confused us, but they sent us in the right direction. The... More

The over arching sentence that we left with was "This is a 4 star hotel trying its hardest to be a 2 star hotel" This hotel very proudly boast that is a 4 star hotel, etc, and on looking in through the front doors you could believe it. How ever, it is a 4 star under the french guidelines, which... More

I booked this hotel for a family break to Paris over the end of May half term. It is walking distance from Gare du Nord if arriving by Eurostar (approx 20 mins) and close to Grand Boulevards metro station. We walked to the Louvre and Notre Dame area easily. Checked in on-line before travelling which meant the process at the... More

Great hotel in an excellent location. 2 minute walk (if that) from the closest metro stations, with attractions like the louvre being a couple of stops away. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops around. Check in and check out are both at 12pm. However we arrived at 9:00am and were immediately given access to our room, and we're given a... More

If you want a hotel which is conveniently located near the tourist attractions, eateries and convenience store, give this hotel a consideration. Though the size of the hotel is a little petite but it has all the necessary amenities which you seek in a 4-Stars hotel. Room also comes with a tiny balcony overlooking the quiet street with nice view... More

Its a compact hotel located in a quiet street around a busy neighborhood. Location wise this hotel is really good - close to everything you need - stations to several metro lines, bar and restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy etc. Front desk staff are very helpful - they take note of my request, enter into the system and would follow up subsequently.... Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
