This is not a busy city centre hotel and indeed is very quiet but what a find. Recently refurbished my room although small had everything I needed - from a window which opened to a bottle of free water. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I came back late from a dinner and fancied a scotch and the receptionist... More

This hotel is situated in the 9th arrondissement, and is well-located for tourists seeking an authentic Parisian experience. This is central Paris - just around the corner from the Folies Bergère - yet it is not in area awash with tourists. Two metro stops on different lines are close by - Cadet and Grands Boulevards - so getting around the... More

We often stay around this area in Paris. Halfway to the Seine, the major stores and Montmartre, we feel everything is at a walking distance. The hotel rooms are small with hardly any place to put your luggage. However, the rooms are very modern and clean. Another annoying factor is the glass door to the bathroom... There is a store... We stayed at this Best Western hotel between June 23 and June 25, 2014. We found the rooms to be extremelly small in comparison with other hotels in Paris. There was no space to put our bags, other than the floor or the mini-desk in the room. There was also little space around the bed to go to the washroom.... More

stayed there on night whilst on a business trip. I had a standard double on the fifth floor. From the outside it is very modern and looks like one of those tall Parisienne town houses. The lift on the fifth floor opened up into a tiny corridor with just five rooms on it. My room was of modern decoration and... More

If you are looking for romance and cachet you will not find it at a Best Western, even under the "premier" label. This is a 4 star (more like 3 1/2) business oriented hotel with small rooms that are not especially ergonomic or nicely designed. But you are in a lively part of town with all the services and close... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
