Given that we were a fairly large group we had to choose an alternative to big chane hotels to keep the cost down. If you never been to Europe and you try to compare this hotel to some large american chains, you will be disappointed. The rooms are nowhere as big, you will not have queen/king beds. It just doesn't... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in January. This was our first time to Paris and so glad that this is the hotel we picked to stay. All the staff reception, cleaners, waiting staff were all very pleasant, friendly and above all helpful. We are not fluent french speakers but learnt a few phrases before... More

We actually stayed here late 2012 but it has taken me a while to get around to writing my recommendation. This was the first time my father and I have travelled overseas and this hotel was amazing for us. We were a close walk to the main train lines or a 2 hour walk away from the Eiffel Tour. This... My girls and I spent 6 wonderful days in Paris and the Opera Cadet was the perfect hotel for us! It is conveniently located near the metro which made using our Paris Passes super easy. The breakfast was very good with several options to chose from, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The welcoming wine & fruit basket... More

My wife and I stayed here for six nights based on a recommendation from a friend at work. We both really enjoyed our stay and will return when we visit Paris next. The hotel was very close to the metro and you can purchase tickets in the lobby, among other must have items like the Paris museums pass which is... More

The hotel is very conveniently situated near Gare du Nord station and Cadet metro station is right across the street from the hotel. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good. Unfortunately the problems with our stay started before we had even arrived. When I booked the hotel I realised that I had made a mistake with the... More

Dear Madam, We have taken good note of your comments on both tripadvisor and our website concerning a problem that happened when you made the booking. As you explained clearly, it was an honest mistake on your part that you intended to correct by sending us an email as soon as you noticed it. We also feel that, apart from... More

It is a nice warm place . the hotel is located on a side street with almost no vehicles crossing it. The location is very near to the Opera building, very close to the PAris Nord and Paris Est railways stations. And 10 minutes walking distance to the Galleris Lafayet and Pumpins which a very nice and huge places were... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
