Spent three nights at the Opera Cadet and would highly recommend it to fellow TA users. Staff were very welcoming upon arrival after our flight and short walk down from Gare Du Nord and we were checked in quickly after a short wait, we were a bit shy of the official check in time. We were given room 110 which... More

This is a Paris favourite for me because not only is the location perfect for what I need when I'm in town, but the staff are unfailingly excellent. I really enjoy the breakfast here, I love the locality and I sleep like a log. It's been very restful to stay here when I've been on business or travelling to see... More

I have stayed in this hotel several times and could not imagine staying at any other place. The location is absolutely amazing, walking distance to Galeries Lafayette, Opera Garnier or Montmartre. The rooms are very nice and well maintained. The hotel staff is polite and very helpful. Great value for your money. As I already said cannot imagine staying anywhere... More

We stayed for a long weekend at the end of August. It was perfect for travelling around the sights, so close to the cadet metro stop. We used the metro the whole time didn't need to pay for taxis, we brought a 5 day metro pass which was great value for money. The room and bathroom were quite small, but... More

We were in Paris for the Wales France rugby international, a friend booked the hotel for a party of 12 people, 6 couples. The hotel was a perfect base for us, close to the metro, and walking distance to the main Paris station for the Eurostar, we were able to walk to a lot of the sites of interest. The... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights from 27/2 - 1/3. It was my wifes 30th birthday and on arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a Jacuzzi suite on the 6th, (top) floor. The room was fantastic with an entrance hall with separate bathroom and WC, leading to a spacious double bedroom. The room also... More

This hotel is better than I expected. A really cool location down Rue Cadet. Streetvendors with their products displayed on the street....meats, sausages, fromages, wines, produce....... The room was a little small but that was to be expected. Very nice room though. Very friendly and helpful staff especially with maps, directions and what to do on a really short 2.5... More

Surprise 18th birthday trip to Paris for my daughter. Great location within easy reach of main sites with metro just across the road. Situated in lovely, colourful no traffic through road with bakeries, bistros and all things French. Room more than needed for family of four and continental breakfast good but girls missed a full English! Staff were really friendly,... More

Great location with both metro and buses 2 minutes away. Comfortable hotel, friendly and helpful staff, we requested a room with an alcove configuration for the third bed and they honoured this. Buffet breakfast was functional, very impressed when I asked if they had any more pain au chocolate, after a few minutes they appeared with a bag of 6... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
