Staff were very helpful and kind. I had broken my wrist the day before I arrived, and they helped immediately, they went out of their way to provide access to the medical support I needed. The amenities, service, breakfast were second to none. Bedroom was clean, bright and airy. I can't praise them enough. Many thanks to the wonderful staff.... More

Having never been to Paris before we were absolutely thrilled to find that our hotel was so centrally located and not only that but that the staff were helpful beyond the call to duty in that they went out of their way to guide and assist us. The hotel was immaculate and the room was cleaned daily with clean towels... More

Cozy hotel. Lovely breakfast. Yummy crepes. Nice location. Friendly staff. Delicious patisserie across the street. Worth every euro!! Saturday night the little street it's on comes alive. Turns into a neighborhood market.

There is not a thing wrong with this hotel except for its 4 star rating. It is a great 3 star hotel and really we couldn't fault it. Staff were very nice, the breakfast was great, free wifi, and we could not have chosen a better area in Paris. I think you expect a little more from a 4 star... More

Recently stayed at Opera Cadet for 2 weeks with my daughter joining me for the second half of my stay. I was delighted with the hotel - room spacious and impeccably clean, breakfast supplied was excellent and hotel has great access to the Metro and bus. If you prefer to walk ( like me ) then Opera house, Louvre, d'Orsay... More

Comfortable, efficient & friendly service at all times. Room was cool, clean and comfortable. Well located to restaurants and metro to the Opera House and the Louvre. Within walking distance of Montmartre. Good value for money. Would return.

Our family of 4 stated in this hotel in a standard family room for 4 nights. The room was quite spacious, the hotel itself was in an awesome location with lots of restaurants nearby and the staff were very helpful. The biggest shopping centre was close and the train station was within a stones throw. My only criticism would be... More

The Cadet Opera Hotel is located in the opera district and is surrounded by restaurants of varying kinds including cheap eats. The rooms are average in size for Paris and well appointed. It has a lovely breakfast atrium and the service at the hotel is very good.

The hotel is in a great location, with access to restaurants, shopping and the metro. The staff are polite, helpful and with good English. The breakfast is good both in terms of choices and quality. We loved the enclosed garden, which is available for breakfast when the weather is nice. The rooms are clean but rather small (not atypical for... More

After a 3-day stay, Opera Cadet is our prime choice for future Paris visits. Our room (211) was small but well-appointed. We found space for all of our considerable gear. The location is just a hundred yards from the #7 Metro line, which provided no-change access to the major museums. Free wi-fi was fast and reliable. Fine breakfast buffet, especially... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
