I have mixed feelings about American chain hotels in Europe, but this is a good one. Rooms were fairly comfortable- though the bed was hard, lumpy. Fairly quiet from the street, but a fair amount of patron noise. The room layout was really good, and private from the hallway. As a rewards member, I have to say I can't stand... More

Carpet was stained in the room in numerous locations. Found a t-shirt in the closet (that didn't belong to me). Rooms definitely seem to be in need of a refresh - things just generally did not feel clean in addition to the visible carpet stains. Attempted to place a room service order at 9:30pm and was told that kitchen had... More

My husband travels to Paris often and stays at The Ambassador because of its close proximity to the company office. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've accompanied him. Before it was a Marriott it was part of Radisson Blu. Our room has always been larger than most and comfortable. We loved that we could open the French windows... More

Dear ShesCookin, Thank you for your loyalty over these last years. Indeed the security policy is very important to Marriott and us, so our windows can not be opened more than about 4 cm. I am really sorry for your disappointment. Regarding the air conditioning, it is available in all the rooms, unfortunately we do not have the fine tune... More

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Very close to the shopping area. Very good breakfast but most of the times coffee machine was having trouble in functionning. The rooms were tiny as a France tradition but compared to other similars rooms, the room was fairly big enough. We had also a wireless connection problem during our stay but over... More

Paris is my favourite city and this hotel with its friendly staff who very happy to help us in our adventure in their beautiful city especially when they found out that we were having our 4th trip. Our room was comfortable, well appointed, free Wifi which was a little slow in the rooms but much faster in the foyer. Breakfast... More

Hotel was pleasant, and rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was good for large department store shopping, but not as close to major attractions as we would have liked. It was, however near the beautiful opera house, something not to be missed. Service was not necessarily bad, but indifferent. I tried twice to get change at the desk for 50€,... More

Well positioned near to galleries Lafayette for shopping. A sort walk to the Opera with a wide choice of cafés & bars. Nice comfortable rooms with lovely large beds. Plenty of choice at breakfast something for everyone. A great base for exploring Paris, make sure you see the twinkling Eiffel Tower at night.

Stayed there for business. Most of the rooms in the price range of my booking had a connecting room (they are facing the street). Unfortunately my "neighbour" was Japanese and had to work on the phone with Japan from 1am... He wasn't loud at all, but there is only a very thin door between the connected rooms. I could not... This is a great Hotel, Large Foyer, great rooms, Great location in the Opera part of Paris. Some upper rooms will have a view of the Tower. Lifts are big and fast. Close to major shopping center with niche food shopping section.

As a frequent traveler I have gotten used to the perks of being a platinum elite and this hotel does not care one bit about loyalty. My number one complaint about this hotel is that I came here for pleasure and it just wasn't a pleasant experience largely due to check-in. I got there before "official check-in" around 1pm and...
