From the minute we walked in the door the service started! Greeted by a guest services professional, we were invited to the concierge room pending our room being ready; we were there hours early. The rooms are extremely large for a Paris hotel and very well appointed. Breakfast included with the room was a full buffet and we were well... More

We have stayed at Marriott Hotels in other countries but this was not the most outstanding like New York the Superior room was small, king size bed so there was not much room to move around. We took a package that included breakfast each day one dinner and two glasses of champagne. As it was Paris we would have been... More

Stayed here several times, this last time for two weeks while in Paris on business. Staff are very helpful - particularly the concierge - so much knowledge of the great places to eat. Ideally placed for sightseeing, theatres and great restaurants.

Ideal location close to the Louvre, Opera, Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur... The rooms are larger than we expected and very nice! The lobby and common areas are trendy and fun. Con: the drinks at the bar are super expensive ($20 Euro for a vodka tonic, yikes!) Very nice place to stay!

I couldn't believe when I went for breakfast this morning (included in my room rate) I askes for a fried egg, then was informed it's an extra €10!! What?!?! This is crazy. The breakfast is rubbish any at this hotel so to then charge for a fried egg, which is basically all I wanted, is insane. I've had the misfortune... More

Our family stayed at this lovely hotel last summer. We had asked for a room with 2 double beds and were only the staying the night, but we were given a gorgeous 1 bedroom suite that had a large sitting area plus separate sleeping area for our children, a nice bedroom with huge walk in closet, amazing bathroom and all... Very nice hotel situated within walking distance to landmarks and shopping. The front desk staff was exceptional and upon hearing that my wife and I were celebrating 20 years of marriage upgraded our room and soon after we were greeted with champagne and desert in our room. A very special touch by a very thoughtful staff. Rooms were clean, quiet... More

A one night business stay was badly impacted by the people on the floor below and one room over (!! amazingly that far away !!)... having some friends in the room and making noise till after 4 am. They were not overly noisy really, not loud music or shouting, more laughing and chatting, but it meant a need to complain... More

I would not describe this as a luxury hotel. The elevator stated it was suitable for 6 persons but the moment a 4th person got in it would not work. Staff on front desk pleasant. Room ok. Breakfast was more like the Holiday Inn than luxury hotel. Little choice .

I have one more night here for out 4 night stay. Super location, very safe. Very nice staff, especially the lovely lady in the executive lounge (Samira) and those who work in the breakfast room. The only complaint that I have is that the walls are super thin. I currently feel like I am residing in a brothel, if you... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
