Beautiful, traditional hotel in superb location. Rooms towards a quiet courtyard made it possible to sleep with an open window without waking up too early. Stayed 2 nights at the Scribe recently. Room : I must say that it is very spacious compared to my previous experiences with other hotels in Paris. A Trip to remember. Perfect location. Our room was ready at 9am when we arrived. Great service. We had twin beds and a roll away so it was a little cramped but the room was clean and well appointed. The restaurant was very expensive but they understood that my 8 yr old daughter needed her food to be Gluten Free.... more

We spent three nights at the Scribe and, while not cheap, it was a great high end hotel. Location perfect, spotlessly clean and lovely service - so value for money (if you've got it to spend). Just one warning - they charge €8 for a bottle of water in the bar! A blooming disgrace and a bit of a shame... more
