We selected this hotel primarily for proximity to the Champs Elysee. It was wonderful coming back in the evenings on the metro to this location -- all decked out in holiday glitz. We stayed in Hotel Galileo for three nights at the beginning of July, and it was exactly as we expected. Lovely clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a perfect location for good restaurants and sight seeing. Our room was a good size and nicely decorated. Very good value for the great location - very near Champs Elysees! Room was ok size, free wifi, clean toilet and bedroom. The only negative thing is that it isn't a romantic setting and I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for ambience. But really, great value. more
