This hotel couldn't be in a better street. Rue des Abbesses is lovely, lined with all sorts of food shops, clothes and glass fronted cafes with outside seating. We were sitting outside the one next door having a drink 10 minutes after we arrived. The room was surprisingly big for Paris. There were three of us and we expected to... More

Dear Pat H, Thank you very much for having taken the time to leave us a comment about your recent stay at the hotel. It is very pleasant to hear that you liked the size and the configuration of your room. The bathroom is smaller in certain rooms, sorry for your friend... but I am glad that you kept a... More

We've just returned from a 3 night long week-end in Paris. We found our room (45) at the front of the hotel was a good size and newly renovated, although the bathroom was far too small. Luckily we are not tall people! It was far too narrow and could be a problem for some people. However, we could cope for... More

We stayed in this hotel for a long weekend in November/ December 2014 when the hotel was undergoing some significant renervations. Our room was newly furnished and although a little smaller than we expected it was very cosey and were not disrupted at all by the ongoing works. Although it had not completed during our stay, the potnetial to be... More

I booked a weekend here, as part of a package with Eurostar. It's quite good value, in that it is in the heart of Montmatre, and other hotels at a comparable price were miles outside the centre of Paris. The rooms are compact (small !) but perfectly adequate for a weekend. They are spotlessly clean, and the bathroom/shower room was... More

The hotel is located very close to the Abbesses metro station making getting around easy and quick. Having recently undergone renovation the breakfast area and rooms are clean and tidy, and the lift now works (important as the hotel is spread over 6 floors). Our room was very small, as are the others I expect but just about had enough... More

Th refurbish is nearly finish and we invite you to comeback in 1 month to see our hotel total renovated. We hope you enjoy all your stay in Paris.... More

Stayed for 3 nights in June 2014. Excellent location, close to Metro, Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge etc. Rooms was small but very clean. Breakfast was very nice, breakfast room in cellar is small but clean and welcoming. The packed lunch is a lovely idea and very much appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were on the 4th floor... More

So I guess this place was undergoing some renovations when we stayed so hopefully it is a bit nicer. Upon arrival we had to lug our suitcases up a staircase and then opened the door to the smallest room ever. I guess hotel rooms in Europe are typically small, but this was almost claustrophobic. We could barely open our suitcases.... More

Dear My Hotel in Montmartre. You provided me with room nr 17, which is one staircase from the reception and the free computer there. Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
