My wife and I spent 3 days in ibis, I thought that would be worse, but small things made me put this grade. The hotel is very well located, next to subways stations and next to the Sacre Coeur church. The bedrooms are small, but ok. It was clean wen we arrived. We had a few problems with the bathroom... We booked this hotel as it was affordable in the month just after Christmas and we got exactly what we paid for so no complaints from us. Our room was cleaned well, of a decent size and bed was very comfortable. The hotel had some very helpful staff and some who were not so helpful but mainly due to the... More

Our journey in Paris at Ibis was really good and all staff members were kind and disposable with us. Check in online was easy and very comfortable to receive our room when we arrived at the hotel, which was located in a wonderful place, near Sacre Coeur and at 5 minutes from Anvers, the nearest underground stop. Fast check out... More

This is a well located hotel for the metro and site seeing bus tour. The views of the Eiffel Tower here are amazing! The rooms are quite small, think cozy!! The staff are lovely and even acknowledged our anniversary! The breakfast is tasty with a nice selection!

We stayed at this Ibis property for 1 night at the fag end of a long trip across Europe. We found it to be conveniently located near Montmarte. The tariff was extremely reasonable by Paris standards too. The room was clean and check in process was smooth. However, the attitude and customer centricity of the reception staff were not quite... We, 2 persons, wanted to stay one night in the Montmartre area. Since we've had very good experiences with Ibis hotels elsewhere, chose this one for the name and price. The hotel is in very good location although the area is not the best of Montmartre: dirty sidewalks, abandoned buildings nearby, crowds of locals on the street, heavy traffic. I'm... More

Hotel was quieter than I thought it might have been, being on a main road. Good location for Sacre Coeur and surrounding areas. Breakfast was adequate and free coffee in reception. A good budget hotel and would stay again if in the area.

THANK YOU FOR AIR CONDITIONING! A lot of budget hotels in this area do not have it.. Ibis has it at the same cost if not cheaper if you book in advance. Yes the rooms are small.. but clean, modern, reliable wi-fi, and reception was kind. A few doors down from the entrance of La Cigale, perfect if you're seeing... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
