Brilliant place on a quiet cul de sac at base of the hill. Close to metro and a stones throw from several great restaurants. Across the square there are two local stores and 10 minute walk there is a department store. Best of both world since you have a kitchen and not just a hotel room. Clean and with very... More

We had a great stay. The apartment was perfectly located, spotless and really big. We were in room 105 and it was quiet and overlooked the courtyard garden. The staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Top marks, thanks, we will be re-booking.

As the Adagio hotel chain is part of the Accor group and about 150 euros a night in Montmartre, I expected something half-decent. I should have taken more notice of the many, many other poor reviews. Unfortunately, I booked and paid for a room in advance, so I was stuck with the accommodation. * the hotel is situated next to... More

My wife and I just had two nights at the Adagio apart-hotel in Montmartre. The room was pokey and the bathroom mouldy. The photos on the website bear no resemblance to the actual rooms. But that was nothing compared to the fact that the hotel is located at the end of a small cul de sac (alley) where a dozen... More

Lovely big apartment with views over the sacre cour (room 1500). Really friendly staff. The reviews are right about groups of men hanging about outside drinking (and peeing in the street), but this aside this hotel is awesome.

We had a great stay here for four nights from 20 to 24 December, 2014. Two in room 204 at the back, overlooking the cafe, three in room 206, overlooking the courtyard, and two in the slightly larger room 500 at the front of the hotel. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and warm - important in December! The facilities are very... More

I began to have concerns before we arrived having read the most recent reviews here on Tripadvisor so I wrote to the hotel expressing my concerns in advance explaining it was my Wife's 60th birthday and as a family group we wanted to make our stay special. We were assured they would ensure we had an enjoyable stay. We stayed... More

Adagio Montemartre is a cosy apartment hotel in the city centre, just blocks away from several Paris attractions. The hotel arranges breakfast in the rooms or in the lobby. The staff are very helpful and friendly. With two metro stations Pigalle and Anvers within walking distance of the hotel, every attraction is within easy reach. The area is very tourist... More

We stayed 4 nights. I did a major research for 6 guests accommodations in Paris, and finally booked this property. The room, we had to admit, looked nicer on hotel website photos , BUT we truly enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all necessary supplies, and the apartment was very spacious, with large table for 6 people. At... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
