We stayed here in June 2009 for four nights and had a great stay. The hotel is chic and with nice, clean minimalist decor. (Kind of an IKEA look, but a nicer.) I agree with the recent reviews. It is a great location away from all the hustle, bustle and crowds of the tourist areas.The shopping centre and market are close and good. The boulangerie was fantastic (but closed on Sundays) The staff are helpful. The room we had was tiny - no where to put a case without tripping over it.... more

Great 13th district Location, with Bus and Metro moments away, all of Paris is easily reached. The reception staff are very friendly and could not help enough, giving great advice on the best ways to get around and what to see! more

Front desk clerk, Nadine, and other staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Comfortable room with small balcony. One block from the metro station at Place d'Italie, with a variety of restaurants, markets close by. So easy to get around Paris with La Manufacture as a home base.
