I was not told that breakfast is included in my booking so I paid for breakfast for 3 days separately and the receiptionist made terrible mistake 3 times for calling the cab on the last day. I took a cab on the street in the end. The room was very very small and tiny. The water drian in shower was... More

Good location for walking to the Louvre, and Ils de Citi, questionable neighborhood, very expensive, very small room. Offered breakfast overly expensive at 17 euros. Twin beds, side by side would not stay in place...(not good for a Honeymoon couple!) Would look for a different location if going back to Paris

if you have to bend to take a shower, you know there's a problem. Staff was very nice and helpful, but was unable to provide an emergency toothbrush. Rooms are way too small - customers can be noisy (mostly tourists) Breakfast is very average A/C was not working.

Perfect location - generally speaking very central but also and specifically a very short walk to the Chatelet RER station that directly connects downtown Paris with CDG. Very friendly staff. Although very small (very common in Paris hotels) the room was clean and quiet. Very reasonable price for this location.

I stayed in Ducs De Bourgogne last 16th of February 2015 for 3 great nights and it was my first time traveling alone. The people in the front desk were very nice and accommodating. For instance, when I arrived earlier than my check-in, they allowed me to leave my bags in the storage until I could check-in. I was able... More

Nathalie was great and Tibaux, fluent in at least 5 languages, provided us all the info and service we needed during our stay. We have a problem with our mattress in the first night but is was exchanged promptly at our request. The location is great and ambience of the hotel as typical as it can be.

- Elevator out of order several times, receptionists complaining that they reported multiple times but management did not react. Even suggested that guests should complain to get things moving ... - Second bed in double room very very uncomfortable - Price/quality and no. of stars (4) are stretched - Excellent location, staff friendly, very clean, small but cosy rooms

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
