The booking was made by a family member so I didn't bother reading reviews. Your adventure starts with a very strange, annoying buzzer system to enter the lobby which happens to straddle two drab streets. The room was dark and depressing, the floors and walls paper thin like a theatre stage set. Saggy mattress, dysfunctional lighting controls. Waylaid hair and... More

We had nothing but problems with this hotel. Firstly, they are no longer part of the Accor group, and therefore no longer a Mercure hotel. Which they didn't tell any of their clients. As a result, my family and I spent 2 hours looking up this hotel contact and when we did find them it was old contact details and... More

I had booked two rooms through Accor. I standard and 1 superior twin with breakfast included. On checkin staff were not aware of the included breakfast nor of the superior twin room and stated they have no superior rooms only standard and privilege and I had paid for a standard. Rooms were definately standard! Our room had no safe, was... More

Excellent location near Opera and Department stores - Printemps and Lafayette, Expensive breakfast at hotel, but opposite the hotel is nice bakery. Room was small, but with all necessary to comfort two adults. Wifi worked excellent, room service was OK

This hotel is under-rated, judging by the reviews here and the overall ranking. Maybe because we've stayed in a Privilege room (twice), we got a better impression. The room was decent in size, about 20m2 , which is great for Central Paris. The decoration could use some refreshment, but it is ok. The bed and linen are good quality, as... More

This hotel is in need of an makeover. Very run down. Front desk staff was not friendly - never smiled...did not acknowledge guests. Housekeeper piles up so many bags, trash, bedding etc. up against the elevator that you cannot get in or out of it. Street door to hotel lobby is always locked. You have to be buzzed in. It... More

We stayed here for only 2 nights in December. We were able to check into our rooms at midday, earlier than expected. The rooms are basic and clean. The bed was really comfy. I rarely sleep well in hotels but here I had two very good night sleeps. Also the rooms were very quiet and pitch black with lights off,... More

we reserved the room through a site, the staff was not understanding of an early flight arrivals, the rooms are small to an average person size, number of electrical outlets per room is low, paper cups in the rooms, small towels, small clothes cabinet,

This hotel is in a fantastic position for a Christmas break in Paris with the Madeleine and Champs Elysées to the right and the grande magasins to the left with great restaurants very near. Sadly, the hotel does not meet the standards of the area. There are smarter and cheaper hotels in the same street. We had a Privilege room... More

I paid for a the larger room, and indeed it was spacious with a decent sized bathroom, a coffee machine, a fridge with free soft drinks and a fluffy bathrobe. Unfortunately the room was under-lit and depressing with an industrial dark brown floor covering and no decoration or charm. My room was on the first floor overlooking the Rue de... More
