To summarize...We booked this hotel based on location and that it was a non-smoking hotel. Upon returning from a late dinner, two nights of our stay our room was filled with smoke, to the effect that I had trouble breathing and my clothes smelled of it upon my return home. We called downstairs, unfortunately there was no point. We were... More

Dear Ms Gharibeh, Following your complaint, we do confirm that we are a non-smoking Hotel, as the law obliges it, all public areas are non-smoking place, all the common areas as the rooms of the Hotel are non-smoking. But in France, it is not forbidden to smoke outside. However, all the rooms are private areas and we are unable to... More

This hotel was arranged by our Viking tour add-on package. What a nice hotel. I am all about cleanliness and details. This place had both. Our room was on the fifth floor facing the street. So much detail in Paris anyway, this place more than met my expectations. Breakfast was provided every morning and was hot and delicious. Staff was... More

We visited for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and chose the hotel because of its great location. We weren't disappointed and the standard of comfort and service in the hotel was first class. We chose not to have breakfast in the hotel but instead used the variety of local patisseries and café's that were also very good.... More

Good staff, clean, good location, wifi connection is slow, very recommended, Concierge is very helpful, will visit again, should have more offers for visitors, must not group clients in floors or rooms according to countries, must have emergency plans info printed and clear to visitors

We were initially concerned about staying at a non name brand hotel in Paris, but reviews we read here helped us. Hotel Rochester was just what we expected and more. Before arrival the concierge had already helped us by arranging our transfer from CDG and return. The drivers were very helpful and the vehicle was spotless. Our room was comfortable,... More

Stayed here while in Paris. It was close to everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious. Beds clean and comfortable. Room's view was as expected for Paris. Room was spacious. Bottle of wine was included in our stay.

We stayed overnight and were pleased with our choice of hotel. It's well located for the Arc de Triomphe and the sights on the Champs Elysee and an easy Metro ride to the other sights we wanted to see such as the Eiffel Tower and Louvre. It was spotlessly clean, breakfast was excellent and the concierge friendly and helpful, even... More

I stayed here when travelling for the Paris marathon. The location to Champs-elysees and Arc de Triomphe was ideal. The rooms were very spacious, tucked away in a quiet street. There's a subway stop right next to the hotel which is very convenient. The staff was very friendly, rounding off a very pleasant experience.

I like this hotel so much that I have stayed there twice! It's a lovely small hotel very close to the subway and the Champs-Elysees. The rooms are small but well appointed and very clean. The front desk staff are very helpful. There are numerous small restaurants a short walk away. The breakfast included is quite nice. It's great value... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
