Close to many shopping and touristic areas. The smell of the cooking in the kitchen woke us up at 6am daily, the elevator stopped working for more than... More

We visited Paris from 26th December onwards and stayed at the claridge, which was a very good decision which I took to book...as it was a stone throw away to the famous champs élysées and very central to almost everything including the two metro on either ends of the champs on one end the Charles de Gaulle etoile and on... The staff at the hotel couldn't do enough for us, they were charming and helpful. Our room was lovely but possibly not to the standard you would expect from UK 'Claridges, especially as our bathroom window looked out onto the roof! The location is perfect for all the sights and the metro as situated just off the Champ-ellyse (and in... More

The best part about this place is the location – its a great central HQ if you want to see the city, literally in the middle of everything. The service was excellent. Everyone spoke some English. Our room was quite. The streets below weren’t noisy. There’s a Pret de Mange right across the street which feels very American but is... More

We loved this hotel from its location, comfort, amazing helpful reception manager and staff, friendly helpful porters, comfortable large well equipped bedroom, the experience was outstanding. The only niggle was the miserable staff at breakfast, which was not really a problem as there is so many street cafe's to go for breakfast we only stayed in the hotel once. Well... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
