We weren't told about the building works when we booked which isn't very friendly or honest. Worse, the works are being conducted noisily behind a cheap plastic screen in the main foyer and next door to the area where breakfast is taken. When I said to the receptionist that I thought it was in an amazingly inelegant way to conduct... More

The rooms are stylish and new. It is all renovated. It is clean and the staff is very helpful and very friendly. Very good location. The rooms are small and there could be more space to store clothes. In general it is a good hotel but in my opinion a bit too expensive. Wifi is extra and not included.

This hotel is a very good hotel with great location . The decoration is nice and the service very good. However room was really small ( not strange for paris though) with street view . Breakfast was nice but you have to wait a lot of time to find a table . Pricy but you expect it for a sofitel... More

This was our third visit to Sofitel Faubourg, a very well placed hotel off Concorde, but we will not be returning. I booked by phone and no mention was made to me of the building works going on which had closed the kitchen: no lunch and no dinner because no cooked food at all. No room service, and a really... Although we have been to Paris many times, this was our first time at le Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, and I would definitely return. The location was wonderful (near the Seine, Place de La Concorde, Hotel de Crillon), on a quiet street almost adjacent to the US Embassy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived on Christmas day,... More

We booked directly via accor website for two occasions each of 2 nights over end of December and 1st week of January coming back from Venice. The first occasion we received a very nice surprise; our junior suite was upgraded to premier suite. The room is so huge comprises of 2 storey; downstair a big living room with small bathroom... A wonderful hotel in a great location. Our room was located at the rear of the hotel so there was no view however; this meant the room was very quite and dark just what the doctor ordered after a 23 hour flight. The room was large and well light. You are only 10 mins walk to almost anything in Paris... More

This is a great location and walking distance from the Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe and a short bus ride to the Eiffel Tower and waterfront where you can easily walk down the Seine all the way to Notre Dame. The service and staff was truly excellent and the shopping district and chic location is wonderful, even if all... More

Rooms very small. Was not advised that the restaurant was closed for refurbishment which also meant cold breakfast and no room service. All in all it is a beautiful hotel as one would expect. The bar staff lack communication skills asking for us to sign for the account after it had already been done. Small things. Not refined.

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
