Small , intim, good location, new furniture and clean .. this is the Mercure Etoile hotel on Bvd. des Ternes in Paris. Rooms are big enough, some have balconies (those on the last floor, 8th) . Simple decorated, big windows with panales curtain, which are replacing even the door at the bathroom. Windows can be open ( is the type... More

The hotel is next to a very well known strip-club in Paris, so if you are staying for business, apparently people know, hey that's next to... So, from a professional perspective I wasn't entirely sure. The reception area is quite small, and doesn't actually have a real waiting area or bar. There are fridges with drinks, which isn't something I... More

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms are great and fairly spacious for Paris and the Bathroom was spotlessly clean. The hotel is very well located with the Arc de Triomphe a mere 7 minutes walk away.you could see the Arc from the top of the road of Mercure Arc De Triomphe. There are many shops on... More

The hotel is in a great location, in the heart of Paris. Close to a Metro station, the neighborhood is full of shops, cafes and all what you can need. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but comfy and quite. The quality of sleep is good. Only problem is that the shower has no door... More

This property is relatively small and basic but has a good central location. Our first room spelt of stale smoke but reception quickly allocated us a new room. Shower, over bath, was only hand held rather than being on a rail to allow height to be adjusted. Not up to the standard of many other Mercure's we stayed at in... More

We visited Paris to celebrate a special birthday and chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Élysées. The trip advisor reviews are correct- the location is perfect- we walked to the Arc each morning in 2 minutes and the Eiffel Tower in 25 minutes stopping off at a few little cafés on the... More

This hotel is located within 5 minutes walking distance from the Arc de Triomphe, where you may find a metro station and also the open bus which is a good alternative to get straight to the main attractions in case you only have a long weekend to visit Paris. Champs Elysees bvd. starts right from the Arc. You may also... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th-century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
