I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years. Frankly there are better places to stay in Paris. More picturesque. Fancier (and more expensive, of course). Cheaper. Even more central. But if your hotel room is just going to be a place to sleep while you enjoy Paris - and especially if you are heading to,... More

if u are arriving by train and leaving by plane or vice versa this hotel is really convenient . No need to lug your luggage around. Nearby are a couple of brasseries where you can get a good meal at a reasonable price. There is a Monop supermarket very handy. The rooms are comfortable and reasonably well laid out. In... More

This Mercure hotel is located next to the Gare de Lyon railway station and that was the reason we choose this hotel. After a couple of days in Paris, we took the TGV to Montpellier. Choosing a hotel near a railway station is always a good option in Paris since the city is huge and from the stations, you got... More

The hotel was just next door to Gare de lyon station and we had taken the TGV from Barcelona to Paris so didn't have to walk much. Surrounding area was good as well and u could connect with the rest of Paris via the metro with the M1 and M14 within the station. Beds were clean and soft and the... More

Went for this hotel as an overnight hotel from Barcelona and then next day to the airport. The closest hotel from Gare de Lyons so very convenient after the 6+ hours of train ride. Basic amenities such as a small ref., a safe for important documents, clothes hanger but no room to store your clothings. a table and chair which... More

A very convenient hotel for Gare de Lyon or Austerltz. About 18€ in a taxi from Gare du Nord. We found the staff helpful (Michael on Reception) was great. Bar staff were brilliant. We booked a privilege room and they have (not advertised) twin rooms available. Convenient to have a mini fridge with drinks included for free. Taxi booking service... More

I chose this hotel because it is located directly at the train station at Gare de Lyon. I was taking a TGV train from Bern, Switzerland to Paris arriving at 1:30PM. With a big luggage for an Asian hassling around in cold weather is not a convenient thing to do in November. Therefore an hotel located in walking distance is... More
