We had a good stay for a weekend in Paris. It is in a good location, with access to the train and the metro, which got us around easily. It is just that the room is quite the mini type, but luckily the bed is a good size. The breakfast was a small buffet, which was quite OK.

This is a great hotel both for accessing the sights of Paris or an overnight stay before travelling to the south of France or Spain. The staff I met on a recent stay were very helpful. Breakfasts are excellent and the room service and hotel bar are a sensible alternative to the local restaurants.

I stayed in this Hotel in Jan 2014 and the experience was very good. It is just in the premises of Gare De Lyon Station which was very convenient for us because we took the train to Basel, Switzerland on the departure date from the same station. The staff was very co-operative and gave us all required information to roam... More

Lyon is a smaller than Paris city. This hotel is in the middle of the Beaux Arts area, close to everything. Hotel staff is knowledgeable and at your disposal. Best breakfast and a keen eye to older folks, as well as children (cereals, yogurts, hot foods as well as fruits, cheeses, meats, breads) hard to choose. Location is superb-middle of... More

Stayed here as a break in the journey to Nice. The hotel is right next door to the station and we had a room overlooking the station. During the night we had a few occasions where we were woken by a rumbling noise, which we assumed were trains coming in. There were also a couple of occasion when we heard... More

Dear DGM1958, First I would like to thank you for your feedback, it is very important to us to improve the quality of service. We chose this hotel for one night since we had to take the train At Gare de Lyon the next morning at 7am. We've upgraded to a premium room which I would have never guessed if they haven't told us. The room was still very small, but I guess big for Paris' standard. The bathroom was however well equipped, spacious... More

We stayed at the Mecure for one night after arriving by train from Milan. We literally just walked out of the station and its your first hotel, so great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were perfect & blocked out the sound, great wifi. Defiantly recommend this hotel.
