Nice hotel and Great staff! Amy at reception was very helpful and nothing we asked was too much trouble. Madebus feel very welcome in Paris! Was in a great buzzing location with loads to do. Walked to all the main attractions in a day. And 5 mins walk to Paris biggest train station so hopped on and went to Disneyland!

We stayed one night while returning to Chicago from Arles. Not only was it a very good bargain, but the room was nice and very comfortable, as was the bathroom and shower. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful (making sure we had a taxi waiting for our ride to DeGaulle), and the neighborhood had lots of choices for... More

We stayed here as it is so close to the Gare de Lyon, from where we were to take the TGV to Switzerland the next morning. The room was very acceptable, the staff friendly and efficient and the breakfast good. The staff spoke English and were very helpful when we enquired about local restaurants. There are plenty of the latter... More

I was recently booked for a stay at Paris Hotel Lyon Bastille for work. Compared to other hotels of similar quality in which I have stayed in Paris, the room and bathroom were a good size. The staff was incredibly kind. For those who don't speak French, the desk staff all spoke English quite well. The location is very close... More

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel when I were traveling in Paris. I chose it because of the perfect location, very close to Gare de Lyon, the reasonable charge, and friendly service. If you don't care the building and facility are more ancient, I recommend you stay in this hotel because it is worthy of its... More

We stayed three nights in early January at the recommendation of a friend who owns an apartment nearby and had often used the Hotel Lyon-Bastille herself and for overflow guests. For just 90 euros per night you get a spotles and, in our case, fairly spacious high-ceilinged room, with a very comfortable bed and excellent linens and pillows. (Bathroom towels... More

Stayed 1 night in December whilst en route to the Alps the next day. Good sized rooms, very clean and very convenient for the Gare du Lyon. Unfortunately, we left a gift that we had bought for a friend when we left the hotel. However, after a phone call to the Hotel they promised to post it on to us... More

Very clean and in a great location near Gare de Lyon. Our room had a tiny balcony with a nice view out onto the street - very Parisian. Overall we enjoyed our two night stay here and the only let down were the staff on the front counter who were a little 'indifferent' most all of the time.

We were absolutely pleased with our accomodation in Paris, we stayed from the 23 till the 27th of October and we couldn't chose any better place to live in Paris for this short period. We had the chance to compare our hotel with our friends ones and we had much more comfort compared to other areas (services, restaurants, nightlife, transports,....).... More

Staying in Bercy / Nation

Neighborhood Profile
Bercy / Nation
Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighborhood where real Parisians make their homes.
