We have stayed in Paris on numerous occasions and each time the scenario has been remarkedly similar: we rent an apartment in a picturesque arrondissement that is hideously overpriced and never quite as comfortable as you expect it to be. Maybe I’m an elitist (or ‘too fussy’ as one landlord charmingly told me), who knows, but if I’m paying a... More

Stayed two nights here on a weekend break in Paris. The room was like a small self catering apartment with an ensuite and kitchenette (which I didn't use). It felt kind of like temporary accommodation and I got the impression that there were a number of people / families living in the hotel. The decor is very tired and the... More

We spent 3 nights in a 1 room apartment. The staff were very helpful, attending to all our issues (e.g. Figuring out how the stove worked). The kitchenette was well-equipped and looked fresh and new. The bathroom had also recently been done up. Unfortunately the room itself needs painting, and looked a bit shabby. However the beds were very comfortable,... More

We stayed here for five nights from December 29th - January 3rd and couldn't have had a better experience. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and spoke excellent English, which was very helpful since our French is very limited. We had two rooms; one was a one bedroom apartment (504), and the other a studio apartment (211). Both rooms were... More

The entrance to this apart-hotel is with a key card. We were outside for about 2 minutes before a fellow guest noticed us and opened the door for us. The reason was because the staff was busy attending to another guest. Apart from this small hiccup, the place was so wonderful. We had a one bedroom suite with lots of... More

We stayed at the Citadines late November early December. The staff at the front desk were efficient and helpful. The rooms were larger than expected. Position wise it is a little way out of the centre but the metro is easy to navigate and there is a station at the end of thestreet. There were a few rewsteraunts near by... More

We stayed in one of the apartments for 3 nights! First impression was very pleasing. Friendly staff, clean & tidy rooms. Use of laundry facility on ground floor was handy as we didn't have to travel town looking for s/where to wash clothes or otherwise have to wash them in the bath!!! Facilities in apartment were great with kitchen area,... More

This was one real good experience to be staying at this awesome place. Centrally located and very close to the underground. The only handicap was wifi was allowed to only 3 instruments. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to change the wifi instruments.

We booked 2 weeks here and are into our 2nd week now. We have found the Front Desk Staff to be very friendly and courteous. The apartment is clean and although a simple decor with a laminate floor. This has its plus (no musty carpets) as well as minus (the elderly people below complained about us moving chairs, although we... More

I stayed here as part of a group of 8, we booked two rooms for two nights and it worked out as £27.50 per night each so as it cost so little my expectations were low, but what we received far exceeded this, very comfortable and clean rooms, very friendly service, will certainly stay here again. Hotel is in a... More

Staying in Bercy / Nation

Neighborhood Profile
Bercy / Nation
Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighborhood where real Parisians make their homes.
