We stayed in room no 1, which I can recommend. It's off the little courtyard past reception. Spotless, small admittedly but all Paris hotel rooms are, v nice bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space. Staff absolutely fine. Location in 7 ieme perfect for our purposes. As we were out and about a lot, we had breakfast round the corner in... more

This hotel was recommended by a friend who stayed here last year, and we were not disappointed. Our three night visit was a 50th birthday surprise for my husband and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived through to our departure; the room was very traditional with a lovely... more

This is a delightful hotel, very well situated for the major sites of Paris. The rooms are small, but spotlessly clean, and quiet (some overlook the interior courtyard, but rue Vaneau is not a busy street, so even the rooms on the 'road' side are not noisy). The staff are pleasant and helpful. Breakfast seemed quite expensive, so we chose... more

This hotel was booked for us while we attended a conference. What a great find. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable. We were on the 5th floor overlooking the street, small balcony with french doors. Bathroon very spacious, bed comfortable and room nicely furnished. The hotel is located away from the mainstream parts of paris... more

I read quite a few negative reviews of this hotel, so I was apprehensive about our stay. Still, friends who live on that street put their guests up there often, so we figured it had to be okay. It was more than okay. The staff members were polite and friendly, the room was SPOTLESS, the mattress was comfortable, and there... more

Don't book this hotel unless you want to be pushed around by a cocky smart mouth manager or staff... Ok so let me begin by saying that the professional pictures they have posted of the hotel are fake. I have NO idea where they found these pictures, but I just came back from this hotel 3 days ago and I... more

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for my birthday for 5 days. We booked it through lastminute.com and it was a very reasonable price. I would say that its a great little hotel just out of the way of tourists and is great for a short stay. It was a small room though I would say it was just cosy.... more

Very friendly hotel in a little backwater. Perfectly placed if like us you're happy to wander off to see the sites - the majority are within half an hours' walk and the majority a lot closer. To find it jump off at Musee d'Orsay (RER station) and walk for 5 - 10 minutes south (keeping the Seine directly behind you).... more

Not the biggest or the flashiest of hotels, but if you want somewhere located in easy distance of the sights of paris and not costing an absolute fortune then this is maybe th eplace for you. Visited with my wife for a weekend away. The hotel was easy to find and travel to from the airport. We simply hopped on... more

Our treatment by the hotel was abysmal. Our room was broken into on the first night as soon as we went to dinner. The door had not been forced (inside job? no security) and only places where jewellery would be found were searched (make-up bag, safe etc). We spent the first evening in the gendarmerie till 1.30. The next morning... more
