This place was "okay". It was clean and helpful -especially with luggage. The rooms had charm to them and we had a nice view. It was European in service so those coming from US may not find all the amenities they are used to finding in a hotel. It was a bit hard to find but we did like the... More

Aside from the classically grumpy order French man "greeting" me on check in, the stay was very good. Bedding, bathroom, and location were all solid with the best being location. Just a few steps from Quatre de Semptembre metro, it's very convenient. Also, Villa Dondelli across the street is an excellent choice for meals.

On the twentieth of december my wife, sevenyearold daughter and me went to Paris for our (almost) traditional Parisvisit. We walked to Lafayette, slept one night in a small but neat 3-person apartment at the sixth floor and visited Gustave's Effeltower the next day. The breakfast we used outside. The secured basement parking at the corner (about 20 meters) is... More

Perfect no problems at all, swanky room. Wouldn't hesitate visiting again. Great Central Paris location, boulangerie 2 minutes away and Starbucks 5 minutes walk. 15 minutes to the Louvre and views of the Seine. I plan on taking my family in the spring and this will be my first choice to stay at

I cancelled by trip to Paris shortly after the terrorist attacks of 13 November 2015. I understand, that the hotel didn't want to pay me back for my reservation as I had chosen the non-refundable option, my mistake. But they were so unplesant when I called them to ask about possible options! As if I should be grateful they're even... More

Good location (the metro station Quatre September is just 100 metres away from the hotel, Louvre in walking distance app. 10 minutes). Calm place. Some staff were not helpful nor customer service oriented.Cleanliness in the room needs to be improved. Breakfast was very poor, a little bit more variety would not heart.

Location and cleanliness are really what this is all about for me. Great area of Paris walkable to so many places. Close to metro for those you want to train to. Clean and typically small rooms are complimented by a very efficient and similarly tiny bathroom. One note is the excessive noise experienced as a result of the tight spaces... More

I stayed in this hotel with my brother for 1 night in august 2015. First, I was really surprised that they would make a reservation without a VISA or master card (we both didn't have one, and at least 15 hotels before them were just rude to us). So this was a pleasant start for us. The arrival was very... More

The Hotel Ascot was perfect for our short stay in Paris. We are a family of four including two teens. The room was perfect for sleeping and showering after enjoying the city from morning until late at night. The room and bathroom were clean. It was quiet and the front desk staff was helpful. Close to metro, Monoprix and many... More

The hotel was nice and clean, The staff was helpful. The location was awesome, better than we expected. You can find everything nearby(restaurant, shops, farmacy). Great shopping centers like Printemps, Lafayette was 10 min walk away. The only thing we didn't like was the size of the rooms. We couldn't move in the room:) The other things was good:) Thanks Opera... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
