We booked 2 rooms which were amazingly clean. The bathrooms were spotless. The towels and bedding are of a high quality, thick soft white towels and crisp white sheets. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. All public areas of the hotel, reception, bar, restaurant etc are cleaned to a very high standard. The entrance lobby area is very... More

This hotel offered us a very comfortable stay. It s in very central location just minutes from shops restaurants and Metro. Considering its in the heart of town it is surprisingly comfortably. We found it a little warm but the windows opened properly and allowed us to ventilate the room to our comfort. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly... More

We booked here due to it's provision of off road parking and location. I realise that a vehicle in Paris is not ideal but we had driven from the UK to Italy, where we got married and this was our return trip. On arrival the rudest, most unhelpful member of staff told us that our vehicle was too long for... More

This is a really nice small hotel which has recently been refurbished well appointed small rooms, but this is Paris. It has a very convenient location to be recommended . I would agree with other reviewers the breakfast could be better.

The hotel is very close to the Opera, and it is only 5 minutes far from the Louvre and the places where you can take a tour to visit the castles of the Loire valley. Very polite staff. Single room is small, but it is ok. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel was nice and clean, located near metro stations, shops and restaurants/bars. Jean/John, who worked night shift was lovely. He was very helpful, gave us recommendations and directions. Would visit again and recommend the Ascot Opera to others.

Arrived back yesterday from a 5 night stay in Paris at the Ascot Opera Hotel - I couldn't rate it any higher! The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained, my only quib about the hotel is our room was a bit on the small side (for two people) however we made it work. Very friendly and thorough cleaners. Every... More

very nice location for Louvre museum and Opera area. Clean and very quiet area. Logical price. The people who work there are very polite and they want to help you for anything you ask. I highly recommend this hotel because it is in a good area for your first visit to Paris.

We stayed in Paris for 6 nights in late July. The room was great. It comfortably fit 2 adults and 3 children. Location is great and found the staff including the cleaners very nice. We would definitely stay there again. My boys loved the little lollies at reception.

The only good thing about this hotel is where it is located. Probably the owners know that because all the rest is terrible. Service is rude. They all spoke both Spanish and English but pretended they did not understand when asked. One night when me and my family got to the hotel, the cab driver had no change, and when... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
