We stayed in this hotel for two nights at the beginning of the month. At the end of a long day travelling and pulling cases around it was a great relief to arrive in the hotel, which gave a fabulous first impression. The staff were friendly on arrival and, although I spoke in french as best I could, she returned... More

I stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend just for one night. We arrived late in the evening and it was the highlight of that bad day. Calm, spotlessly clean, decorated with taste and functionality. We even ordered dinner from a furnished room service menu. A great experience.

Very nice hotel with good sized rooms for Paris. Very comfortable beds, good bedding and contrary to other reviews we found it quiet. The door to the bathroom is frosted glass so it may be a little uncomfortable depending upon who you are traveling with. Air conditioning worked really well. We didn't eat at the hotel as many other great... More

What to expect at Hotel Icone. (Free Wifi!) Small European sized rooms - my friend and I requested 2 singles and the room served well for what we used it for, which was just sleep. The beds are comfy and extra pillows are in the closet. I've read some reviews on the AC not working and all that, but our... More

Our visit to Icone was a pleasant one, although we were a little disappointed not to receive an upgrade with it being our 4th wedding anniversary :( especially when below reviews mentioned upgrades. The hotel staff were very friendly, the room was clean and bed comfortable, modern decor and great location to metro, bars and shops. We didn't have breakfast in... More

Lovely hotel, clean, modern with fantastic staff who could not have been more helpful. Great location and easy to get around. My only groan was after a long day it is nice to relax with a drink in the hotel bar but there isn't one and this was my fault for not checking before we booked, the other point which... More

We chose the Icone due to the amazing reviews here on trip adviser. The hotel was lovely, well priced and full of helpful staff! Its located really well, and right next to a metro stop which my partner and I used a lot, it is a 15 minute walk from the Louvre and many other attractions. The nearby restaurants are... More

We stayed here as two couples in August. The rooms are not huge but they are very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The staff are all extremely helpful, (our request for adjoining rooms was met without any problem), and considerate. We actually chose to have the hotel breakfast (12 euros), which we normally don't as they tend to be overpriced: there... More

I travel to paris quite a lot on business, and in the summer months the pricing can be astronomical. This hotel is really reasonable (under €150 per night). Rooms arent big but very clean, nice beds, decent air con, nice bathroom with toiletries and free wifi! Only downside is no coffee machine in room but for the money you cant... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
