Rooms are clean and small, missing a comfortable chair or little sofa. The room service food was bad both times we ordered - over cooked tough steak and cold fries. Gigantic slice of soggy cold tarte tatin with liquid cream floating in apple juice, looked awful but tasted worse. Free breakfast was cold all through except for the coffee which... More

Great hotel. Small, but clean. Great location, within walking distance (if you like to walk) to Opera, Galeries Lafayette, Louvre, Madeline. Many restaurants in the vicinity. I'll stay in this hotel again.

I stayed at Mercure Paris Opera Louvre for the long weekend with my friends. It's a beautiful hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms in a quiet street. It is ideally located within a pleasant walk towards all the main places of interest in Paris. We were pleasantly surprised by the staff of the hotel and how we were welcomed.... More

stayed at this hotel during fashion week in March, the location is great, walking distance to Louvre and lafayette, with many great restaurants around. The hotel is newly renovated and wasn't very expensive for the fashion week (other hotels actually charged very high price). I arrive at 7:30am at the hotel and they told me my room was ready, what... More

This hotel is well located a short walk from Opera and despite the age of the building it is very clean and modern in most areas. The entrance is very small and is more of a hallway than a lobby. Though the hotel is highly priced at around €200 per night it is very compact and offers little in the... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to tell us your impression about the hotel. The Mercure Paris Opéra Louvre is a former mansion, completely renovated in 2014. It is located in the heart of the city, in a very pleasant district, and represents the typical Parisian charm. You can also book one of our Privilege rooms, and enjoy... More

although I'm a repeat customer, Platinum loyalty card holder, it took 20 minutes at the front desk to get me checked in. I appreciate the receptionist was a trainee, but I'm surprised that the other receptionists did step in out more spontaneously. At some point I had to ask myself if one of them could help. On top of that... More

My first stay here. Reception small but effective, I was checked in promptly and efficiently. Rooms was small but extremely functional. As I was staying one night I did not need large space. Bed very comfortable so a good nights rest was received. Lighting controls very easy and next to the bed. coffee and tea facilities provided. Bathroom spacious with... More

We booked rooms at this hotel due to its close location to where we were having a business meeting. Although we had no time to sightsee or shop, its location seems to be excellent and the room rates were tolerable considering it being centrally located in a major European city. We were greeted by friendly personnel. The ladies that evening... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
