Was very excited to stay @ Mercure as I has a very good experience in Mercure Budapeat. However, I am totally disappointed with their service. We put a "Do Not Disturb" sign at the door as we do not want anyone to come into our room. Come back after a long day, and was very surprised someone came in and... More

A lovely hotel, location is great as its near metro. A 10 min walk to the opera house and the shopping area. Also lots of cafe and restaurants less than 5min walk away. The hotel itself is clean, beds are very comfortable. The staff very friendly. The breakfast area is small not much variety for breakfast but I am not... More

I was very excited to be staying here after reading previous reviews on TripAdvisor. There is no question the location in the 2nd arrondissement is great. I took the RER B from Charles de Gaulle and then the Metro, alighting at Richelieu-Druot station. It was only about 3 minutes walk from there to the hotel. From the hotel, I walked... More

Great location - waling distance to the Louvre, Galleries Lafayette and a metro station. Room was spacious for what i understand of Parisian hotels - was also well presented and clean. Staff at reception were great to deal with for any questions or help needed. I came down late one evening as i was missing an adapter and the staff... More

This hotel is better than the 700+ plus ranking in Paris. The location for tourists is great. There is a nearby metro which takes you to a lot of the main tourist sights, the hotel is clean, professionally run by helpful staff, breakfast was perfectly acceptable, there are lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby and the all important wifi (when... Well located in central Paris, only a 10 minute walk to the Paris Opera, and in the heart of a lively part of Paris. Close to a metro station (2mins walk) but tucked off in a side street, this is a great location. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has spacious rooms at a very affordable price. The breakfast buffet... More

Lovely hotel with very helpful reception staff they arranged a Orly airport transfer which was cheaper than the bus.. We had a privilege room - comfy bed, coffee machine & kettle, fridge, great shower. Close to metro and some lovely restaurants. Also close to lots of sights bit of a walk to the Eiffel Tower but manageable. Breakfast too expensive... More

Great central location. We spent a long weekend here. All staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel has been well modernised. Our room was quiet, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Breakfast was a scramble on one of the three days. Otherwise all was fine and good value-for-money overall.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
