I was at mercure opera cusset in the mid of july 2014 , and i can tell the hotel hasnt properly done yet, specially the lobby part, but surprisely all rooms are completely new already, w/ new parisian concept , w/ some red wall part, pretty nice I can say, since it wasnt my 1st time staying there, maybe my... Amazing location right in centre of Opera, nearby shops and metro. Spent 3 days for my hen with 11 other girls and the hotel was very accomodating, easy check in, no hassle. Very clean room, looks newly renovated. Rooms were also sound proof, no bother sleeping at night. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was also a plus and... More

Major works are on-going which make chaos. The reception has been moved to a dusty desk with 2 pc's on the first floor. I had a room on 5th floor which just about accommodated the double bed. There was no room to turn in the bathroom and the shower (no bath tub) was a plastic cabin! The minibar was housed... More

We ve been there for a WE my wife and I on 27 to 29 of june. The hotel entrance and Lobby does not exist. It's a war zone in there with heavy works. Breakfast room is a joke. More packed than the metro at rush hours. I am very frustrated that Accor has not put a caution on their... More

We really wish we got a warning about the renovations to the hotel. The walk in was disturbing but the staff was friendly and our room was clean and quiet. I was a little worried about security because you walk into the hotel with no reception (temporarily on the floor 1) and boarded renovations with access to the elevators to... More

If you've been to Paris before you know that finding a room bigger than a handkerchief at a reasonable price is virtually impossible so all things considered we did quite well. We stayed here for 4 days with our 7 year old daughter and despite the refurbishment which end of May only impacted the first floor we had a pleasant... More

I visited over June 10th-12th while the hotel was undergoing refurbishment. I wish I had been informed of this in advance. Due to the refurbishment work, the reception area (which was essentially a makeshift desk on the first floor), was cramped and chaotic and checking in and out of the hotel was a slow process. I could not see any... More

Thank you Mercure for inviting me to make this contribution. On the negative side there was no reception (a makeshift desk in front of the lift on the first floor), did I mention a lift? What a joke, you can squeeze two people into this semi-automated museum exhibit. We were told that refurbishment was taking place. That was true the... More
