I was part of a school trip that included a few days in Paris, and we stayed at the Mercure Cusset Opera during that time. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, charming hotel in a good neighbourhood. The location of the hotel was very good. It was right around the corner from a metro... Stayed here for 2 nights in May '13. Friendly staff and nice room overlooking the central space, which was very quiet. 15 minute walk to the Louvre and Seine and the metro is a 2 minute walk away for easy access to the rest of Paris. Also close to Montmatre. Considering how expensive central hotels are in Paris, the Mercure... More

Small hotel located next to the Opera. Not too many luxuries in here. From a dark and monotone entrance, a very small and super slow lift, a fairly small room and reasonably ancient bathroom, you will however get a reasonably confortable bed, and a friendly welcome. Arriving by car can also be a bit of an issue, since no parking... More

Dear Guest, Thank you to share your experience with us. For your information, the lift was fully renovated by January/February 2012 in respect to the French regulation and Law. As well, a full renovation will take place earlier in2014. For your future stay, please choose a different type of room – Privilege room - more comfortable if you would like... More

Lift is asking for retirement, carpets are old, mattress slept half of paris, bathroom is asking for renewall at last for10 years. I know that hotels in city center are expensive, Paris is very expensive but for the price we should expect something properly maintained and renewed at least every 20 years.

Hotel is in a good location. The room is adequate. Wifi works well. Breakfast is ok. Hotel works fine, and feels like a reasonable but not upscale place to stay, and feels a bit old-fashioned but more in a tired way than a luxury way.

This is an OK hotel with a great location. The staff are friendly and accommodating. However......When we came to check out the receptionist presented us for a bill for the breakfast, per person per day. When we checked in there was no mention that the room was room only or that we'd be charged this extortionate rate for an average... More

My friends and I stayed in a (cozy) 3 person room on the first floor the opposite side of where they serve the breakfast buffet (and I was glad it was since it just made it more convenient). As most hotels in Paris, the space is short and you find yourself in a tiny adapted elevator, since the building was built centuries ago. The breakfast is great, nevertheless you are in Paris and you can find this almost everywhere. What surprised me in this hotel was the friendly treatment I received from the staff. Absolutely flawless during my... More

I booked this hotel for a weekend trip to Paris with the other half and his mum – it ticked all of our boxes in terms of location, price and comfort. Dear Guest, We would like to thank you for taking the time to share your experience regarding your stay in Paris. Thank you for your feedback (location, clean room…). The hotel was near the Opera and a short walk to the Louvre. It provided everything that we needed. It was also close to Gare Lazare. The hotel was clean and the room satisfactory. It provided coffee and there caves close by.
