Rooms are nice and modern with big tv and free wifi working also well. In these days they have renovation at the entrance , so it is not really appealing for this. To be seen again once finished. Nearby The center and a nice brasserie le saotico.

When walking into the hotel, we noticed that they were renevating the lobby...(During the summer season in August 2014) and the reception had moved to the first floor. It looked like a building site and the workers were sawing in the morning right next to the breakfast room leaving dust everywhere ...They had just decorated the breakfast room however, and... More

It is always bad to run an operation while renovating. We arrived in the demolished lobby had to go to the temp lobby on the first floor. The lift is so tiny that we needed two runs with our luggage. The rooms were all new, clean and the bed was comfortable. Even the rooms are very small it offers everything... More

It's going through a refurbishment at the moment, and that's clear when you walk through the lower floor to the temporary reception. What counts are the rooms and for Paris they're perfectly acceptable and as they're just refurbished, not bad at all. I have stayed in a lot worse in the city and for more money - you can be... More

Mercure is nicely located in the Opera district Rooms are good - definitely the privilege room. At the moment some of the floors are going through a refurbishment Last time I stayed there they put the €19 breakfast on my invoice which I didn't take - I only noticed it later... Overall hotel is OK - but very pricey for... More

This hotel should really have closed for the duration of its refurbishment! The entrance resembled something from a war zone!! The reception was a desk outside the lift on the first floor and although the staff were helpful they were unable to cope with the pressure of guests. Breakfast was a disaster with too few staff on duty to cope... More

Lovely bedrooms, still under reconstruction which wasn't really a problem but the breakfast room was so tiny, very cramped with nowhere near big enough for the 49 of us, never mind the other guests. It went downhill over our four days stay, no eggs but the boiler was still there, coffee machine totally inadequate, constantly running out, toaster stopped working... More
