This hotel has been one of the worst I have stayed in for a while! The room smelt bad and I asked to be moved to another room, which smelt just as bad. The noise between midnight and early morning made it impossible to sleep. The curtains were filthy, bathroom although appeared clean was dusty and stains on the shelves.... More

Nice hotel, quiet area, good position to the headquarters of the OECD and nice bars and restaurants. The room is quite small and clean. The bed is comfortable for those who like a stiff bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The metro is few minutes from the hotel.

Using this hotel for fifteen years. I lived and worked in this area, so know the area very well. It is so convenient and for culture vultures the Musee Marmottan (Monet) is closeby. Great shops and restaurants.

Stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and this location was perfect! Other than that, everything was just ok. Here are the pros and cons from my perspective. Pro's: Location: This hotel was walking distance to the Eiffel tower and the Trocadero area. There are restaurants all around the area for you to choose from. From Mcdonalds to fancy ones.... More

The street of the hotel is nice, and the hotel is walking distance from the Eiffel Tower, but the area is not exciting and in the evening there are not many restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful and very nice. The rooms were very small but comfortable, in a medium condition. Overall not a bad choice.

I stayed here to be near the location for a business meeting in the 16th arr. in Paris. As previous reviewers have commented, the location is perfect but don't expect luxurious accommodation. With this in mind, I arrived ready to be disappointed but was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the efficiency of the front desk team. I ordered a... More

We booked our accommodation here the evening before and secured the last room. I think we were probably given the worst of the rooms as we were located downstairs out the back - whereas all the other rooms were located inside & upstairs. The room was basic & very small - the bathroom was tiny. But none the less -... More

This hotel is located fairly close to the Eiffel Tower about a 15 minute walk. It is small and basic. If you are looking for somewhere to just lay your head this. Unfortunately our family group were placed on 3 different floors and as our room phones didn't work properly we had problems communicating with each other. Our room was... More

The hotel has an excellent location near the Eiffel tower. A metro station is at 5 minutes walking distance. The room was very small, but the bed was comfortable. The shower booth was very tiny and toilet space the smallest I've ever seen. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was expensive and frugal.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and had no complaints other than the room is a little tight for space but for what we needed it for it was ideal. We were out all day so it was no problem. It's located on a lovely backstreet that is approx a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower.... More

Staying in Trocadero

Neighborhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighborhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendor, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
