I took my wife for a 4 day break to Paris. I like to know that i wont get any nasty suprises with the hotel and although this one isnt cheap it didnt dissapoint. Room was ready early and we got a free upgrade. The rooms are not huge and the upgrade was supposed to be bigger, but it was... more

The pictures look nice, but seeing it in person ... I was really impressed. All the staff is very charming, professional and polite and all speak very good english (as opposed to my pretty poor french). The feel of the place is like staying in somebody's very lovely and beautifully furnished townhouse. The room was chaming and romantic but, seriously... more

A beautiful hotel with flair. I loved the ambiance, the location, the staff, the rooms, the decorations and not least the champagne bar (stay there at cocktail hour or when returning at the hotel late evenings) What a beautiful warm and personal hotel this is. Petit, but cozy like a french chanson. Will go again. Defenitly a yes for everybody... more

I booked the Sofitel for a romantic 3 night break for my husband's birthday, based on a recommendation and previous experience at other Sofitels in Marseille and Paris. On arrival at around 3pm Friday afternoon, my request for a quiet room on a high floor had been met and we were directed to a charming room on the 5th floor... more

My husband and I just returned from a 2 night stay at this Sofitel. We tacked it on to a week long trip to Brittany. We were just in Paris this past February, and stayed at the Lutetia (see review, we love this hotel, it's the BEST choice in Paris) and wanted to try something different. I chose this property... more

just returned after spending 3 nights for our silver wedding anniversary. Booked it after reading the reviews posted on this site. The hotel is excellently located between the Arch de Triumph and the Eiffel Tower and the whole time there we were able to walk everywhere. I think the only locality we didn't manage was the Sacre Coeur, need to... more

We had a wonderful week in Paris and this hotel was great in many ways. A lovely location and comfortable bedroom/bathroom. However our experience of breakfast was very bizarre bordering on comical. The lady who served us breakfast on some mornings clearly did not enjoy serving tables. I made the error of asking for a cooked breakfast one day and... more
