i searched for a hotel as close to the marais as possible, and i found this very good value hotel.at 64 euro, it wasnt cheap, but not expensive by paris standards at all.also the republique metro is 1 minute walk away, so getting around is very easy.nice restaurants nearby as well, for a late night cofee.it has a lift as... Understanding that Paris is expensive $85 USD is not a lot of money for this location. It's great because it's very close to the metro and is easy to get to the major train stations and airport without taxis (which of course are also expensive) The bathroom is horrifically tiny and you are unable to sit on the toilet without... The hotel is with perfect location - on the La Republica metro station with many metro lines. The staff was helpfull. The room was too small and bathroom was too small. The towers were bad with no white color.

Ok well to start the Hotel is very hard to find as the door way looks like the second door the to the first "nicer" hotel, The Staff were very rude and wouldn't let us store our bags so we had the option of waiting in the lobby for 6 hours or dragging our 3 suit cases around Paris!! Not... More

We arrived at the hotel at around 11.30 a.m. hoping to be allowed to leave our suitcases there. We were surprised to be given our room key straight away so that was a very good start. There was no help offered when we had to negotiate very narrow stairs with our suitcases. Our twin room was rather small and the... More

Upon arrival we were received at least politely...the person at the front desk, explained us the location of the room and the basics...he also explained us the schedules of the breakfast and we asked if this was included...he say yes, of course... When we arrive to the room we were shocked to see the size of this...real real tiny...and the... More

Hotel staff were surly. Hotel stairs covered in dirty carpet, and rather dangerous to negotiate. No offer of help from staff with suitcase as my husband struggled upstairs with it (her is 71 years old!) Towels were hard, grey and thoroughly unpleasant. A request for more, nicer ones was responded with a grunt; next day we were supplied with two... More
