We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while in Paris. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean and maintained daily. The location is good, very close to a metro station which we used most frequently! The breakfast, while awesome, was really quite expensive! But we found that was quite normal in Paris. Next time I would probably get... More

Standard room was perfect. It had a small kitchen with minibar and microwave. Great when you travel with an 8 month old baby. Beds are fine. The staff is very kind! The parking garage under the building is very handy. Garden is beautiful. Love this hotel!

Could be a great jewel however falls short. The service is lacking despite the number of staff. If you book a taxi expect a cock up. In our case 3 booking 3 failure. The rooms are dark and very average for a 4 stars with a lack of comfort in the bedding. The bar is good and the barman friendly.... More

This is a very large hotel that brings in people by the bus load. It is centrally located and the rooms are large compared to many other Parisian hotels. Most if not all the rooms are connected to the room next door with a door between the rooms. These doors are not insulated which means that noise travels from one... More

This is a really good hotel in Paris. Centrally located, charming interiors and spacious rooms. When the price is affordable at the same time, it can't be any better. There are many good restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel.

Was looking for somewhere affordable for a weekend stay and stumbled across Hotel Les Jardins. Was really impressed. Beautiful hotel and really friendly and helpful staff. We had booked a small room but found it very generous in size with an ensuite with bath and shower, lovely products and the beds were really comfortable. TV had loads of English channels.... More

A wonderful welcome for me, my two sisters and three friends on our arrival. The staff were very friendly, helpful and charming. The rooms are well eqipped, clean, comfortable abd warm. The tv worked perfectly with British channels. The bathroom was clean with lovely products to use and the towels were soft and fluffy. The breakfast was to due for!... More

When booking here because you are at le Marais you dream about a dram does never comes true. In fact, you are near Place de la République, which is far away Le Marais. I went with my girlfriend for a week-end and the place is nice (the main entrance). The hotel is a continuation of several buildings where we received... More

Broken curtain never repaired during our stay. Musty disco effect decor not accurately depicted in website. Don't know what it was but left with several bites. But the staff was friendly and very helpful. Why don't these places invest in themselves and properly maintain their assets?

On the outer edge of the Marais, the hotel is positioned between the Place de Republique and the Bastille. The multiple Metro stops makes moving about Paris easy and its proximity to the Marais makes staying in the neighborhood a great choice. The Marais, home to the Picasso Museum and the incomparable Place de Vosge, provides an easy wandering down... More

Staying in Bastille / Oberkampf

Neighborhood Profile
Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighborhood.
