I tried the superiorroom at this hotel (got a bargain at hotels.com) as base for a cityvacation. Near the nation metrostation. The staff is friendly and speaks good english. We only tried the breakfast once, but there is a good bakery three blocks away.

It was our most pleasant stay in Paris. According to its category (3 stars) and the promo price we booked I think it is perfect hotel. For all, very clean, kind staff, it is not in the city center but it is very good connected wit more metro lines and RER as Nation is only 5 minutes on foot. (and... More

Stayed here for my 50th Birthday during a very difficult weekend for Paris where everywhere outside was heavily guarded by a police presence and soldiers with rifles, a terrorist attack a few streets away, however, the staff were professional and calm throughout our stay. For that, I applaud them. The Hotel is very clean, although some renovation work was underway... More

I stayed at the hotel December 7-14 as part of a program. I had a small single room, with plenty of hot water, a tiny kitchenette, flat screen TV, small table and chair, closet with hangers, and a twin bed. This was fine for a solo traveler, as I am aware that rooms and apartments in Paris (and most of... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Pleasantly suprised by the size of the rooms, well above Paris average! The beds were comfortable enough, and the showers were very good (again, well above average standard!). The hotel is mainly based around an open-air courtyard with 3 floors, so for the most part away from the road noise. It is... More

We stayed in Room 10 of this hotel from Nov. 7-16. The room had twin beds. There were no drawers in the room. There were 2 iron rung straight back chairs. The room was extremely dark even with all of the lights on. A small kitchenette was advertised as an amenity. It wasn't, because the small table in the back... More

We were booked into this hotel by our tour and found the staff very friendly and accommodating. Yes, the rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. The location is terrific, just a short walk to the Natione Metro station and the Sunday market is close by. Don't miss it. Leslie was our breakfast attendant and he was outstanding. By... More

Staying in Bercy / Nation

Neighborhood Profile
Bercy / Nation
Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighborhood where real Parisians make their homes.
