My stay was very friendly and welcoming. Isabelle greeted me warmly every morning and helped me figure out how to get to where I wanted to go that day. My room was clean and the sheets were crisp and fresh feeling. As a solo, I had plenty of space. The bathroom is small, as is expected in an older hotel... More

Although this hotel has a great location, it is not a good hotel. Rooms are very very small, wifi is bad, breakfast is continental and expensive, rooms smell like humidity, towels and sheets seem old and elevator is not functional, it can only fit one person. Though the service is mostly average, the A/C has to be turned on from... More

After spending three days at Le Clement in 2014, I was excited to book another stay there this year. The hotel is a very charming family run in, with a friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. It is an excellent location, surrounding by the bustling shopping and dining on Blvd St Germain and surroundings, easy walks to l'Ie de la... More

We had a great stay at this hotel. Rooms were small but clean and just what you need when visiting Paris. We really liked the little lobby that allowed us to wait for tours or friends. The breakfast was fine but it is the location. Clustered in amongst some good restaurants ...minutes from just everything the left bank has to... More

This hotel was just what we were looking for... a small hotel near many of the major tourist sights. If you don't mind walking this is a great location to see many things... Jardin du Luxembourg, Notre Dame, Jardin des Touleries, the Louve... even the Eiffel Tower isn't more than a 2 mile walk. We loved being close to everything... More

We just stayed at Hotel Clement, and really enjoyed it. The location was good- in a hopping St. Germain, and right near two metro stops. The hotel staff was nice, and our room- a junior suite- was perfect for us- small yes- pretty much the norm in Paris- but we had a separate small bedroom for our 16 year old... More

Nice, well located hotel. It is a small and friendly hotel' with polite stuff, clean but not large rooms. Its advantage is the location in saint-germain area, near many restaurants, coffee shops, the Seine river, Saint-germain- de-pre church, the Sorbone University, and many other places.

This is a cute property in Saint Germain Des Pres, which is my favorite area to stay in Paris. Most of the main sites are within walking distance, with lots on wonderful sidewalk cafes nearby. The rooms are typical for Paris--smaller than the North American standard--but well appointed, and the staff was very helpful.

Clean comfortable rooms and friendly helpful staff. Very close to the metro 4 line with many restaurants and shopping close by. The breakfast is good but simple. Free wifi but sometimes it worked better in the lobby than the room. We would stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location, wonderful staff and helpful manager. Rooms are small and simple, but clean and more than adequate for a room at this pricepoint in the St. Germaine du pres neighborhood.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
