3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed at Le Clement in June. The location - perfect - which is why I gave it 3 stars. It would easily be 4 or 5 stars if we didn't have room issues. We were in a classic/standard room. It was clean but the particular room we were in had no closet - just a coat rack with canvas... More

We enjoyed the convenient location, the friendly staff and cleanliness. We had a room that offered a small separate room for our son, which was nice for privacy. The rooms were not very large, but certainly within the norm for European hotel. The staff was really quite helpful with all of the questions that we had.

Although this is a two star hotel it feels like it should be a three star. Room for me was a decent size considering this is Paris. Room was clean and I felthad a traditional Parisenne feel to it. The best thing about the hotel is the location being just off Boulevard Saint-Germain with plenty of shops, restaurants and attractions... More

If you are a first time visitor to Paris you might be shocked at how small the rooms are at this hotel, but they are typical of most Parisian hotels. We returned to this hotel for 4 nights after staying here last year. We had a double room which meant there is difficulty in finding room for storing your luggage,... More

We had a very nice experience at this hotel. The neighborhood was fantastic. Close to the metro. Lots of bars, restaurants and places to get dessert. We were a short walk to alot of different attractions. The hotel itself was very clean. There was a VERY small elevator that barely fit luggage. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

My husband, teenage daughter and I enjoyed our short stay at this modest but charming hotel centrally located in Paris. It was nice that our daughter got to have her own space within our room. The staff was warm and friendly, knowledgeable about the area, spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Breakfast was fresh and very good. So many... More

We stayed at this hotel in July 2015. We had a great experience for the price. There were three of us, so we had a triple, which was two rooms - one larger room and a separate, smaller bedroom. The rooms were a good size for a European hotel room, which are almost always going to be smaller than typical... More

The bi-lingual staff was always available and were friendly and helpful (shuttle reservation back to the airport, restaurant recommendations, daily directions). The room, lobby and staircase and elevator were clean. Simple not fancy decorations were fine. Room size allowed for ease of movement for 3 people (two bedrooms). Adequate closet space. Windows opened easily to allow breezes. Room safe to... More

My wife, son and I recently stayed at Hotel Clement. The hotel is in a good location in Saint-Germaine near the Mabillion and Saint-Germaine metro stops. It is a short walk to Boulevarde Saint-Germaine. We came into Paris at Gare du Nord and took the #4 metro to the Sainte-Germaine metro station which is a 10 minute walk to the... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Le Clement in July 2015, upon a recommendation from a friend. We were expecting a comfortable stay in a wonderful location. We completely regret the experience. We could tolerate the worn, tired interiors (dimly lit, stuffy air, small spaces), questionable cleanliness and even the 6-floor walk up we had to our room,due... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
