My husband, two daughters, and mother-in-law spent three days at Hotel Le Clement at the end of December, 2015. We had a junior suite and a regular room. We were very pleased with everything! The people at the front desk were helpful and we loved the restaurants they recommended. The rooms were kept very clean, and the location was perfect.... More

Hotel Clement is clean, well located, comfortable and pretty good value for Paris. For under €200 we got a Junior Suite which had a small bedroom with ensuite and a smaller bedroom with a good sized curtained clothes hanging/luggage storage area. Admittedly, it was cosy, but we are talking Paris (St Germaine) walking distance to The Seine and Notre Dame.... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in late September as a solo traveller. The hotel is charming and the staff were always helpful and polite. The shower always had hot water and excellent water pressure. My room faced the street but as it was on the 5th floor there were no issues with noise. The hotel is situated close to... More

We and another couple enjoyed our stay here in Paris. It was a great location, with so many interesting things to see within walking distance and the bonus of a metro close by. Our room was very clean, quiet and the bed comfortable. The room and the bathroom were both on the small side. We found the staff to be... More

The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel is well-located near two metro stops giving easy access to many great sites in Paris. The breakfast was an optional extra, but was very well laid out and gave a great choice. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Great location, nearby the heart of Paris. The rooms are small but very classy, and clean. The hotel itself has a pleasant historic feel. Easy walking distance to the Saint Germain and Saint Sulpice churches and the Luxembourg gardens. A little further walk to the Louvre. I love the bookstores in this area. My one complaint was that the second... More

We just returned from our trip to Paris where we and 3 other couples enjoyed Hotel Le Clement. Great little hotel, close to so much. Rooms were very clean, staff was MOST helpful, would recommend for everyone. I messed up our reservations online, and yet they saved our space and rooms as requested, and when calling them, they were quick... More

As a solo traveler, I'm so comfortable here; rooms are freshly decorated, bathrooms updated. I love the front rooms overlooking the rooftops of the quarter and the steeples of St. Suplice. One block off of St. Germain de Pres insures quiet and bustling bistros, corner cafes for breakfast, and two convenient metro stops. One can walk everywhere anytime easily. One... More

Tonight I just saw a message from a TripAdvisor reader asking why I gave this hotel one point when I obviously meant to give them five back in 2013. Indeed this reader was correct, I loved this hotel. I am unable to find my review to change it so I am changing it here now in 2015. My friend and... More

The location is good. We were able to walk to the Louvre,Opera area. Staff was very kind. It was a satisfactory stay . I want to stay this hotel next trip. Thank you.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
