Perfectly located hotel near my favorite Jardin de Luxembourg. We had a typical Parisien small, but convenient room on 4th floor with beautiful view on eglise Saint-Sulpice and very delicate and stylish wallcovering. Bathroom tiny but new. Price unbeatable for what you get. I'll come again!

Charming little hotel in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres. You do not get any better for this value in such an amazing location. Close to everything, subway, restaurants. Small rooms but average size for Paris standards.

I am a frequent client of this bijoux hotel because of its comfort, Central location and great service. I recommend it wholeheartedly! I stayed with my elderly mother and aunt and we were very well looked after. The breakfast is delicious and there is proper coffee served.

We have stayed at Hotel Le Clement at least a dozen times. It's a very convenient location, and a comfortable place to stay. Rooms are small, but you should expect this (and therefore not complain)... it is the very centre of Paris. There is a luggage cupboard in the foyer if you wish to leave bags for a day.

I don't know if there is any hotel in paris with a best location... Walking distance to Luxembourg , Notre dame , with about 60 ( yes , sixty ) places around 2 , 3 blocks to eat... a longer walk , to d'orsay or even Natinal Assembly and Place de la Concorde. Two very close metro stations , Mabillon... More

A very warm welcome from the reception staff and an easy and straightforward registration process. A comfortable, clean, tidy and well presented room 102 facing onto Rue Clement. A very cold day on arrival (4 degrees outside) and lovely and warm inside provided by an efficient central heating system. Clean, bright and modern bathroom with all things working efficiently. Rooms... More

This charming hotel has a great location, just around the corner from Metro station, Mabillon, on line 10 and close to small shops selling fruit, drinks, wine etc and just a few hundred metres from Rue de Buci for cafés, a selection of cheeses, cold meats, salads etc as well as the boulangerie for fresh baguettes, pastries and coffee. It's... More

Rooms are small, but clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Above all, the location is great. Rates are the best we've found in the 6th arrondissement, probably because there's a soup kitchen for homeless people next door.

really nice and cosy lobby when you walk in,. What did not meet our expectations was the first sight when we discovered our really tiny room facing a very close wall, one cannot call it a courtyard! The bed's blanket was quite old and thin. We could also enjoy the conversation next room, it is not soundproof. The positive thing... More

Fine. Small rooms - but if you don't spend time in there it a good area of Paris! Close to metro and RER to the Airport. Nice cafes in the area if you want to eat breakfast out (recommended when you are in Paris)

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
