We stayed for a week in this hotel. We had an upper floor room with a “courtyard” window, which is basically just an air shaft. However, the room was very quiet. The room is small as most Paris hotel rooms are, but it was clean and makes the best use of the space. The bathroom has a bathtub without shower... More

Tucked away in the ultra-chic Saint Germain-des-Pres locale this makes a splendid base to enjoy all that Paris has to offer. Compact rooms - a very compact elevator - provide all the basic necessities. Friendly service.

Without losing sight of the fact that this is Paris and hotel rooms are notoriously small, this one no exception, for what we wanted, this hotel ticked all the boxes. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were super helpful and polite and it's located right in the heart of Saint Germain, 5 mins walk through beautiful streets to... More

Hotel is conveniently located in the St Germain de Pres area. Clean modern comfortable and reasonably priced for Paris. We were three and we had a suite. Very tiny but this is expected in Europe. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They held our luggage till our room was ready. Shopping and great cafes within 2 blocks. Very quiet. Unfortunately... More

+ great location, great staff, small but decent room. - Just hand shower and Bathtub with no curtain. I know this is kind of common if Pairs but ,really, taking a shower was always a hard and uncomfortable task...

Just got back from our 4 day stay at Hotel Clement. Location couldn't be better and overall had a pleasant stay - the staff were very friendly and helpful. However we had the most basic room type and it really was very small. We've been to most major European cities now (and live in London) and this was definitely the... More

This small, but very nice and personal hotel has an excellent location just off Boulevard Saint-Germain. All traditional spots like Deux Magots, Cafe Flor and restaurant Lipp are just a few minutes away. The rooms are small but very nice and comfortable. The staff is very helpful, and the price is very affordable for a hotel in these surrondings.

We came across this hotel while looking for an affordable hotel in the very heart of Paris. The location is absolutely fantastic, in walking distance to my favorite cafes and restaurants in Paris, specially Les Deux Magots, where I planned to have breakfast. Instead, my wife and I ordered breakfast to our room and were totally surprised what we got... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
