We have just spent a pleasant week at this hotel, a second visit for us. We very much like the location near to the Luxembourg Gardens, but also handy for the bus and metro. Our room was a small double with bathroom on floor 5. It had everything we needed. I liked the L'Occitane bathroom supplies, the shower gel smells... More

Had a great stay at this hotel. The location is perfect very close to Odeon station but the rue is very quiet. There are lots of nice places to eat around the neigbourhood but the hotel is also not too far from the seine and the louvre. The rooms are on the smaller side but very clean, with pretty Parisian... The hotel is ideally located in the Latin Quarter, near the Place de l'Odéon in the 6th arrondissement. I was pleasantly surprised that my Supérieur room was actually a suite, with a pretty, Laura Ashley-style bedroom and a living room furnished with a sofa and a large lucite desk. It was perfect for my 2-week stay as a graduate student... More

Dear Madam, I thank you very much for your nice review of the hotel St Paul Rive Gauche. Room 51 is one of my favorite rooms as it offers a great view and it has an agreeable little sofa. "Ambiance cozy" I would say. It has been a pleasure to meet you. We all look forward to welcoming you again... More

We just loved staying in this hotel. Our "small room" was larger than many of the rooms that we have stayed over our three week France trip. The decor was lovely. Breakfast was great and served in a lovely room. This hotel has an elevator and the best a/c we've experienced during our trip. The staff was wonderful. Great location.

Dear Guests, Thank you for your recent visit and for your nice review of the hotel . I am very happy to read that you liked your room and that it was not as small as you had imagined . From the moment I saw this hotel on TripAdvisor I knew I wanted to stay here. The hotel is small and so more personalised. Our room (we booked a superior room) was very clean, comfortable and more than spacious enough; by Paris standards. Although redone with a modern twist it retained it's Parisian charm. the hotel is very well located... More

Return stay at the great boutique hotel. Renovations now seem completed and the rooms are wonderfully decorated and appointed. Highly individualised design supported by very friendly and supportive staff. A superb location just tops it off! Another great stay and can't wait for next time.......

The location is perfect. Close to Odeon Metro but walking distance to many places of interest. We had a quad room in the loft overlooking the street. The room has adequate space and is very modern and stylish. The room was quiet due to the double glassed windows with shutters. There are many restaurants in the street and nearby. Continental... Dear Guests, We thank you very much for your recent visit and for your nice review. Regarding the mattresses, they have been purchased very recently and this is probably why some of our guests (not all) report that they are a bit hard. I forwarded your remark to our General Manager and the decorator ( her husband!) and they replied... More

My childhood best friend and I met in Paris in early June for a 10-day visit (mixed business and pleasure). We researched hotels online and chose Hotel Saint Paul Rive Gauche because of the very enthusiastic reviews about the location, staff, and rooms. We were not disappointed -- in fact, we were extremely happy with our choice. We stayed in... More

This is a lovely, quaint, Parisian hotel in the perfect location to get around the city easily! Highlights: 1. Location: Only 2 blocks from the metro's 4 and 10 lines, this hotel is in a great spot. It's also very close to many delicious restaurants, cafes, and the amazingly beautiful Jardin de Luxembourg. 2. Rooms: We were in room 13... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
