Fantastic small hotel in a quiet street but only a short stroll away from many wonderful lively restaurants. As a base it was great, being near a main metro and being within easy walking distance of many of the sights of Paris. We had a three night stay and I can find nothing to be negative about. From the friendly... More

Cannot find fault with this delightful hotel. Fantastic location, near anywhere you wish to go in Paris but v quiet at night. Friendly staff. Superb room with individual decor. Very comfortable bed. Think this may become our base for Paris visits from now on.

I have stayed in Paris about 12 weeks over the last 20 years. I only like to stay in small boutique hotels where I can experience everyday Parisienne life, and not just live in a tourist bubble. This hotel was my favorite of all I have ever stayed. It is stylish yet budget friendly, clean, quiet rooms, very friendly service.... More

This hotel was v centrally located on a quite street. There was a number of different restaurants ranging from Japanese to French. We tried the Restaurant Polidor - just down the hill - and it was v reasonably price for good rustic French food. The hotel is within walking distance of Notre-Dame (10 mins) and Musee D'Orsay (25mins) among other... More

As a couple new to Paris we wanted somewhere located within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions and this fitted the bill perfectly being ten minutes walk to the Louvre and Notre-Dame and c.40mins to the Eiffel Tower. Being near Odeon it's c.20 mins from the Eurostar terminal too. The room was small but comfortable, the welcome warm... More

This little hotel is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants and the metro. We stayed in a family room on the 5th floor. The room had recently been renovated, so everything was shiny and new. The beds were extremely comfortable and the wifi worked well. It was a little small for the 4 of us (mum, dad &... More

The hotel is a few minutes from the Metro, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. The staff spoke great English and help us with our French and recommended excellent places to eat. our favourite was the Vietnamese place across the road. I suffer slit with joint pain and hot baths help, when we noticed we were in a room... More

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel is about 6 minutes walk from Odeon Métro Station. The area is nice with lots of cafés and restaurants. The people at the receptiondesk were all very kind and spoke perfect English. The room was clean and because of the high ceiling felt nice and airy. Bathroom was very clean and modern... More

Dear Guest, We thank you very much for your positive review. Regarding the hair-dryer, we are renovating all our rooms and the renovated rooms do not have wall-mounted hair dryers but professional ones located in a cloth bag inside the wardrobes. It is sad that you did not contact our 24 hours front desk to ask for another hair-dryer. We... More

I wandered into the Hotel St. Paul in the Latin Quarter over a decade ago and immediately felt at home. Since then, I've stayed there almost every time I go to Paris. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The employees are like family; they are accommodating and friendly. The lovely women in the charming breakfast alcove downstairs greet you with... More

Our room was spare but large for Paris. We were in Room 14 which has a queen-sized bed with a canopy. It felt very La Belle Epoque and I imagined myself a Can-Can dancer suggested also by the location in Quartier Latin. Bed and shower is excellent. Having restaurants and a laundry across the street was also quite handy for... More

Dear Guest, May I send some greetings from the "Addams family"? When you visited us, Gomez and Morticia were interim staffing at the hotel for a couple of days. :-) More seriously, I thank you for your nice and ....surprising review! Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
