My husband and I have reluctantly just left the stunning jewel of a hotel in the 6th Arrondissement in Paris - "Hotel St. Paul Rive Gauche" on Rue de Monsieur Le Prince. This small hotel has recently been renovated, with extreme attention to detail, fine workmanship and an exquisite sense of design. The rooms are decorated in striking wallpaper patterns,... More

This was our second stay at Hotel-Saint Paul. We had stayed here five years ago and thought it was good, but maybe not great. Our most recent experience was excellent! We traveled with our teen age children and were given to recently remodeled rooms. They were beautiful and, though small, were in perfect working order. The location of this hotel... More

If you enjoy a more personalized experience in a hotel, this is the perfect place. The staff gets to know you quickly, and they are extremely helpful in showing you how to get where you want to go and recommending great restaurants. I particularly appreciated the map they give you with a chart to tell you what bus/metro to take... More

We stayed at the Saint Paul Rive Gauche for four days the first part of June. We were on the Fifth floor in the back. The room was small but clean. We looked out across the city and the outdoor playground for the school next door. At times there were students playing games, but they were not exceptionally loud and... More

This was an excellent quaint French hotel. My wife and I stayed here on our recent trip to Paris. The staff was very friendly and helpful as this was our first time in Paris. The room was clean and special with plenty of space for our stay. We will definitely consider staying here the next time we visit Paris.

This boutique hotel is conveniently situated in the Latin quarter with easy access to the museums, art galleries, cafe life and shopping of Paris. It is also within easy walking distance of the lovely Luxembourg Gardens. The warm welcome from the staff and their desire to make each visitor's stay a comfortable one is immediately apparent. We stayed here twice, once at the start of our trip and again when we returned to Paris. We loved it. The first stay was in the room pictured as the icon by the hotel's name which is a large room facing the street. The second time was a smaller room in back. Both rooms were wonderful, they have been... More

This is a lovely characterful hotel with original and interesting decor. The bedroom, like most Paris hotels, was small but cosy with nice decoration. The bathroom was very clean with lovely L'Occitane toiletries. The room had everything you need, including free, reliable WiFi. The breakfasts are simple but good quality with croissants and breads, jam and butter, fresh fruit and... More

This is a well-run, classy hotel in a fantastic Paris location. Newly renovated rooms with modern and antiseptic bathrooms. Best of all is the staff! Kudos to Valerie & Olivier! We had fun just chatting with both! Helpful, professional, upbeat! We'd return in a heartbeat!

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
