Just left the hotel this morning and would return in a heartbeat! We've done both hotel and apartment stays in the past, and the HSP was by far the nicest experience and best value for our money. Location is ideal, staff is super, rooms are lovely and generously sized (and a real bathtub!), breakfast is just right. We stayed 4... More

My partner and I stayed at the Hotel St Paul Rive Gauche from the 18 - 22 May 2013. We had booked a standard room as that was all that was required, in a nutshell a place to lay our head. Our standard is that the room, bathroom and linen must be clean and the bed comfortable, the Hotel St... More

The hotel is quite nice. The location is excellent: you're within easy walking distance of everything in the 5th and 6th arrondissements, as well as the Seine, There are plenty of great places to eat within a few blocks. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The room, was quite small, especially the bathroom. But the price was quite... More

Dear Clients, We thank you for your kind review on Trip Advisor. Last month, there was "Roland Garros Tourney " (May 21st- June 9th) and now, there is the Air Show at Le Bourget Airport During the high season, hotels in all borrows of Paris are a bit more expensive as there are less promotional offers available . Considering our... More

A great little hotel in a reasonably central location in Paris. It's within walking distance for most of the main tourist attractions, but you can always catch the metro if you didn't want to walk. The rooms were very small, but not small enough to be too much of a problem. It was on par with the prices of other... More

Dear Clients, We are grateful for your nice review. Actually, our rooms are not small if you compare them to several 3 and even 4 star hotels in the neighborhood. Most of the travel agents who have visited our rooms said that they were much bigger that the rooms they had visited in other places, when you can barely turn... More

We had five nights at this hotel, our room was on the third floor facing the street, it felt roomy and had a bath tub which was a blessing after long cold walks. The front desk staff were gracious, welcoming and helpful in organising day excursions when we wanted a break from Paris. The room was quiet (double glazed windows)... More

Dear Clients, We thank you very much for your great review about the hotel. Regarding the noise in the street, we have contacted the manager of the bar which is located two doors away from the hotel . We have asked him to make sure that his clients will not be noisy when going out of his bar. We are... More

For an average to good budget this is a very good choice, however, beware of the top floor, very cramped rooms even for Paris' standards. Difference between standard and classic room is not clear, except for the price of course ... I booked a classic and am pretty sure we got a standard (top floor) the first night. After pointing... Dear Client, We understand that you did not like the 1st room you stayed in. Actually, there are only 5 rooms on top floor: 2 classic, 1 family room then 1 junior suite connected to 1 twin room. We enjoyed our six nights here. It is a tiny hotel, only six rooms per floor (some very small) and a spiral staircase, but well appointed throughout. We elected to have breakfast included, and it was certainly adequate for a long day of museum-hopping. The greatest thing about the Hotel Saint Paul is the location! Walking distance from the RER,... Dear clients, We thank you very much for your positive review. The hotel location is "strategic" indeed: you can reach many touristic sites either by walk or by public transportation ( 2 metro lines, 1 RER train direct to CDG airport , 12 different buses...) The wonderful staff at the St. Paul make this hotel a hidden gem. Located right next door to the Polidor Restaurant (from "Midnight in Paris" fame), it is in the heart of the Latin Quarter - close to the university action but far enough away for peace and tranquility. Official Description (provided by the hotel):
For the last 4 centuries these stones have guarded the spirit of the Latin Quarter, between the Sorbonne and the Luxembourg Gardens. Many years ago Franciscan monks were lodged here…The warm decor of this hotel, steeped in tradition, its wooden beams and Haute-Epoque furnishings, the comfortable reading-room dotted with an ecological fireplace, the individual welcome accorded you, and not forgetting Skype the cat, lazing at reception, will give you the impression of being a special guest in a private residence. In each of the 31 rooms and suites of this 17th century dwelling the interior decorator has left his mark; no room resembles another. Some have four-poster beds; another has a ceiling with little twinkling lights and a Jacuzzi and, more, a still life deception. ... more   less
