Stayed here in January 2015 when it was still called Hotel Aviatic. Had a charming stay here and the staff attended to all our needs. It was also awesome that the night staff that time knew how to speak Portuguese and he was able to chat with my brother. There was free breakfast if you like their Facebook page (their... More

This is a wonderful warm freindy hotel the staff are very freindy and helpful. The rooms are small but cosy, There are loads of shops and restaurants close by and the Eiffel Tower is just 5 mins away. Buses and the metro is just around the corner that will take you to the famous sights.

The variety of accommodations and available services in Paris hotels can be a source of frustrating surprises and missed expectations. Selecting chain-name properties or paying a premium rate never seemed to guarantee my stay would be stress-free. For the Christmas holidays, this hotel offered me and my family a great vacation experience, with zero causes of dissatisfaction during our 9-day... More

After extensively reviewing hotel options, we decided to stay at the Louison Hotel based on the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. This was going to be a special visit for my partner and I since it was our first trip to Paris, it was our fourth anniversary, and I was going to ask him to marry me (he said yes!). While... More

The hotel is situated in one of the most safe and nice districts of Paris that is also close to centre and to the river. There were metro stations in the walking distance (one of them is bound with Gare de Montparnasse which is a train station, so it's convenient). The rooms are quite small but tidy and clean and... It was our best experience on a boutique hotel in Paris, the rooms where great, the location could not be better, but what sets the difference at the Louison Hotel is the staff. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home. Perfect 11 day vacation. Thanks !!!!!!!!!

Sensational service by multilingual staff, and the Executive Rooms are large for French hotels. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. These rooms are critically placed overlooking the backyard and are thus VERY quiet. We are Australia based and had two large suitcases and backpacks, all of which we could lay out on the floor. This... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
