We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. It was clean, calm and charming. But after all the personnel was what we liked most in this hotel. Really helpful, friendly and attentive. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris.

Interesting decor in this hotel that is convenient to Gare Montparnasse. Lots of restaurants close by. Typical tiny Paris bathroom, but better than many others. Very nice front desk people. What can I say? It's Paris and the bed was nice. What else do you need. Price was good also and it had an elevator.

The hotel sign is a little nondescript considering how lovely the property is once you walk through the front entrance. The property has a lot of history and the owners have made great effort to preserve its character and the bedrooms have recently been re-furbished and our deluxe double room is spacious by Parisian standards with a modern bathroom and... I stayed four nights here. For a three star hotel, I can say that they were fantastic. Most of the staff is friendly, helpful and trustworthy and willing to do what they can for you. Metro stations are close by. The hotel itself is very conveniently located to both Falguiere station (Line 12) on the left and Saint Placide (Line... More

We spent four nights here during our short stay in Paris and were extremely comfortable and impressed. We were greeted by Gael who gave us information about the hotel and surrounding area, including the four metro stops and where they were most logically going to take you (VERY helpful!). The room itself was roomy... not easy to find in Paris.... More

We stayed for 4 nights in the Aviatic and with its quirky lift, its free wine of an evening, its tiny breakfast room and its even smaller balconies we loved every minute of it. We opted for a superior room and found there was adequate space and storage and the bathroom was modern and well appointed. The staff all spoke... More

We were going to Paris for a few days, before heading to Greece. Since this was our first trip ever to Paris, we wanted a decent hotel. The Hotel Aviatic was nice. It was a little pricey for what you got, but I'm guessing that's to be expected in June/July when it is peak season. The staff was friendly and... More

Stayed here upon recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. Hotel was in a nice area on a quiet street and close to the Metro as well as bars, restaurants and shops. We walked everywhere and a lot of the main sites were within 30 mins walk. The hotel was spotless and the reception staff were very friendly... More

I went on a trip with nine other women. Eight of them chose to stay at a different hotel. Our travel agent booked my twin sister and me at the Aviatic for nine nights. My sister's luggage was lost for three days! The front desk called the airport for her and continued to do so until her luggage arrived. The... More

Im not the type of person who writes reviews, but this time is truly unfair. I stayed here for 4 nights first week of July 2015. They gave me a hotel room with a damaged air conditioner. After reporting it everyday, they couldn't solve us the situation because they were full, so we ended sleeping for four nights in our... More

Dear guest, First of all we would like to thank you for choosing Aviatic hotel even if the comment you posted is not in the Hotel favor. We are deeply embarrassed that you didn’t enjoy your stay as expected due to the air condition system. From June 30th to July 8th, an unexpected heat wave surrounded France and Paris brushed... Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
