Despite some flaws, we would definitely return to this Citadines when in Paris. Pros: -location, location, location. If you are in Paris to see the sights, it would be hard to be better placed than Les Halles. If you are fit, you can walk everywhere (including the Eiffel Tower). If time is an issue or you prefer transit, key bus,... More

I stayed at Citdines Les Halles in June for businnes and I found the location very convenient both for public transportation and for walking distance from main venues. Although it is in a quite cahotic area, the building is not noisy at all. The staff was very kind and helpful. The apartment was ok. Although of a little lower standard... More

The location is the big selling point for this hotel. it's within walking distance to a great deal of sights. It's near a metro station, an RER station, a landing for the Seine hop-on / hop-off boat tours, there's a grocery store next door and dozens of great restaurants right outside. About the location - there are crowds of guys... More

I was not impressed. The rooms were ok, but nothing better then functional. There is a large amount of construction going on and the noise is rather annoying. I felt the entire hotel could use some updating.

Paris Review We were a young couple with an infant as tourist....found the Location of the hotel great. You are not far from tourist places like Louvre, St Michel, Notre Damn, etc. Note: to spot this hotel bang on, put this address in GPS " 37 Rue Saint Honorè 75001 Paris" the address as written in the photo by the... This hotel is about two blocks from major RER and Metro stations in central Paris, making it a great location for tourists. We walked to Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay and the Louvre. The Pompidou Center is just down the street. The Seine is about three blocks away, also an easy walk. The Les Halles neighborhood is full of good restaurants... More

Very comfortable, very easy to reach with the train from the airport (though finding your way out of the under-construction Les Halles station is a challenge), very central, and the staff is nicely attentive. The construction is a significant issue--less for noise than for appearance and detours--but we greatly enjoyed our stay. There are elements that remind you that it's... More

The Citadines are lovely, because there are a lot of them in close proximity, and they have a lot of space. The front desk is always great, helping you with anything you need, and speaking many languages as well. It's also nice that they always have complementary coffee and tea at the front desk, as well as a self laundry... More

We enjoyed the central location of this hotel, 5 minute walk to the Louvre and numerous restaurants and shops. Air-conditioning worked well in the heat wave and there was no notable construction noise. The breakfast is good although overpriced, the lady in charge of breakfast has a bubbly personality and kept things running smoothly. Rooms were adequate but not huge... More

Went back in April, and it was a pretty decent hotel. The hotel is in walking distance to the Louvre and Notre-Dame. The room we stayed in had a small living room, a kitchenette, and an extremely small bedroom. There was barely any room to walk around in the bedroom. Also, the bed may seem like a king bed, but... Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
