Surrounded by plenty of shopping and access to train near by that goes directly to disneyland. As a family we actually walked to Eiffel Tower but will take about 40 mins. From there it's 20 mins to the Arc and drag. We walk about 12 km that day but we all loved it. Love is close to hotel. Great staff... More

The rooms are very spacious, clean and modern. The location is wonderful and it's close to several metro stations and tourist attractions. We also loved the free hot beverages they offered us in the lobby and most importantly, the staff spoke several languages and were extremely helpful. The only thing they could improve on would be offering daily cleaning of... More

The basic Citadines apartment at Les Halles is compact but comfortable. We used the Kitchenette for Breakfast only. It would have been very difficult to cook a dinner there as it was very compact. Having said that it had everything you needed. The bed was comfortable and bathroom well serviced. The apartment was clean. It is a modern apartment hotel... More

We went to stay at this hotel around 4 years ago and it is the only hotel I have ever refused to stay in. I'm pleased to say that since a multi-million Euro renovation things have improved. The location is great for the Pompidou, Notre Dame, Louvre, Marais (lovely little shops) etc Loads of great restaurants at reasonable prices too.... More

Very good hotel for business travelers. Excellent location there's even a small supermarket a few meters away from the hotel. Just nearby Centre Pompidou, taxi stations, a post office and the underground. My only issue is the neighborhood at nighttime, which doesn't feel safe.

Location is not so easy to locate especially if you are a foreigner. Taxi drivers don't know where to drop off and that is a hassle especially when you have kids and lots of luggage. Accommodation is ok, but the apartment is not very clean. But the absolute worst things are a) the construction noise and b) the noise downstairs... More

Perfectly placed on the beautiful square which has so many lovely restaurants. Fabulous having a kitchenette. Spacious room great bathroom. Could walk to the Louvre in about 15 minutes among other places. Only thing was the bed - very hard.

Clean and comfortable. Close to a lot of restaurants. Walking distance from the Louvre. Short walk to Metro station. Not very easy to get there by taxi. Friendly and helpful staff Limited choice for dining. Pretty much breakfast only.

Stayed here for few days to celebrate birthday with wife and grown up sons. Apartments were as expected and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Staff were very friendly. Downsides mentioned by others are the noise from the square/building work. The building work on the forum looks like it has sometime to run yet. The wifi is... More

1. Quality of Rooms (Terrible) The Citadines Les Halles Paris hotel advertises a beautiful, artistically decorated studio room, spacious and inviting. But in reality, nothing could be further from the truth. The studio rooms are actually tiny, extraordinarily cramped spaces, practically claustrophobic, with little if any decorations and a run down hostel like ambiance. 2. Quality of Service (Mixed) The... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
