The hotel is in a great position for the Louvre, Jardin de Tulleries and the Musee de l'Orangerie, and a 10 minute walk from entertainment venues around the Opera area. It's got three Metro stations very close by, giving links to a number of useful lines. Unfortunately, as it's a bit old and doesn't have double glazing, noise from the... More

Classical rooms and facilities but no problem just for stay. Close to famous spots and Metro stations. Variety of dishes (particularly Asian foods) are available within walking distance. Note that no hair dryer in the room.so. If necessary, it would be better to bring your hair dryer.

The room was clean, but vintage. I was afraid to open the door of the wardrobe, not to fall on me. The noise from the street and from the hallway was to loud because the hotel room has its original windows and doors. The breakfast has the same menu every day.

Normandy lovely hotel, excellent location, beautiful room, clean, warm, and nice. Good room service. Friendly staff. We lived on the sixth floor and in our room with a balcony. It's very nice. Near the hotel are numerous restaurants and cafes. We are very pleased with our stay. We will recommend it to our friends.

Rip-off prices are to be expected in such a top location. What isn't expected is the fact that everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - in this place is 50+ years old, with paint flaking, plaster Crumbling, beds creaking, taps leaking (and that's the same amount of water you get from the hot warter tap, open or closed!). At first... More

This hotel is well located in the city center of Paris near Musée du Louvre, the Seine river, the Opera and the Place Vendôme. It is also well connected to the metro. Rooms are very good if you like french traditional housing decoration rather than modern design. Staff is nice.

I booked this online through a popular booking website with EuropStar tickets included. It was a surprise weekend break for my wife, who has never been to Paris before. We got to the hotel at midday and despite the checkin time being 2pm we got our room early. The hotel has a concierge service. I met two during my stay,... More

The hotel is a little worn and could use a serious renovation. The location is very central - one block from the Louvre, good shopping, many good places to dine and two very close metro stations. The staff was very nice and helpful and spoke good English. Our room was very charming and spacious considering European standards and the price... More

We stayed for one night. The hotel is in the perfect location for the Louvre and Musee D'Orsey and in a great part of town. The staff were very helpful and kind. Our room was dated, and the bathroom was small but both were clean and warm. Gallons of hot water and the beds were comfortable and the linen good.... More

Dear guest, Thank you to have left us a comment. This is the shabbiest hotel I have ever seen. It is a travesty for the owners to describe this as 4-star. The rooms are dirty and in desperate need of decoration. The only positive thing that you can say about Hotel Normandie is it is in a terrific location, 2 minutes from the Louvre, 10 minutes walk to Left bank... More
