The hotel was very nice. Very friendly staff. And the best location in the city... just beside Louvre Museum. The room was nice and clean. We didn't have the best view from our room. But it felt like a minor detail when everything else was great.

1. Staff at the check-in desk was not helpful - requested us to pay cash as if we were running away without paying. Plus, they had my credit card details so easily could have taken an authorization which is the normal practice in the industry. 2. Concierge assisted in booking tours and his knowledge was horrible. He was helpful but... More

Acceptable room. Although the twinbed room not ready at check-in, staff quickly fixed that. Free wi-fi. Concierge not very helpful or informative. Best thing about hotel was location near the Louvre. Comfortable beds.

I visit Paris at least once a month and this hotel became my least favorite place to stay in the world. I honestly don't know how they can call it a 4 star and charge what they do. There weren't even toilet paper rolls, it was a 1 sheet at a time dispenser. Also, no air condition, loud and all... More

Dear Madam, We thank you for sharing your hotel experience feedback. We are aware that the hotels rooms need renovation but this has nothing to do with cleanness as all rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. However, as you can see on our official website, we are not advertised as a 4 stars hotel. Kind regards, The Normandy Management... More

The hotel is in a great position for the Louvre, Jardin de Tulleries and the Musee de l'Orangerie, and a 10 minute walk from entertainment venues around the Opera area. It's got three Metro stations very close by, giving links to a number of useful lines. Unfortunately, as it's a bit old and doesn't have double glazing, noise from the... More

Classical rooms and facilities but no problem just for stay. Close to famous spots and Metro stations. Variety of dishes (particularly Asian foods) are available within walking distance. Note that no hair dryer in the room.so. If necessary, it would be better to bring your hair dryer.

The room was clean, but vintage. I was afraid to open the door of the wardrobe, not to fall on me. The noise from the street and from the hallway was to loud because the hotel room has its original windows and doors. The breakfast has the same menu every day.

Normandy lovely hotel, excellent location, beautiful room, clean, warm, and nice. Good room service. Friendly staff. We lived on the sixth floor and in our room with a balcony. It's very nice. Near the hotel are numerous restaurants and cafes. We are very pleased with our stay. We will recommend it to our friends.

Rip-off prices are to be expected in such a top location. What isn't expected is the fact that everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - in this place is 50+ years old, with paint flaking, plaster Crumbling, beds creaking, taps leaking (and that's the same amount of water you get from the hot warter tap, open or closed!). At first... More
