Stayed there for 5 days. Location is perfect. Very close the major landmarks and metro stations. Big Bus tour is just 5 mins away. Staff was helpful particularly a gentleman named Reges whom we met on our eve of arrival. Hotel is classic due to its vintage but unfortunately that shows in cracking, unpolished furniture, peeled off paints and very... More

Bathroom disgusting, mouldy, broken tiles and the shower leaked all over the floor. Bedroom nice and big but that was the only good thing. No bed head, TV very small & had bad reception & no satellite as Advertised. Power points and light fittings on walls are very loose. Bed was not much softer than the floor. Both safes were... More

The term I would use to describe this hotel is a "dump". No air conditioning and furniture that looks like it was picked up at the Salvation Army thrift store. The actual rooms look nothing like the advertisement. The bar had mice running around under the tables. It is an old smelly hotel with few pluses. The only pluses is... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and I believe this hotel is only ideal for its location. When we got to the hotel desk, our friends had already checked in and we ask if they had our key. In that moment one of the receptionists began insulting us in French with the concierge (believing we did not speak French). To... More

I wanted to like this place - I love "old Paris" and small hotel chains. Yet after sweltering in our room in 100+ degree heat, and being told there was NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL. We found a wall air conditioner cleverly disguised with a fabric colored box! When we asked why they would make us suffer through... More

Dear Sir/Madam, We regret that your last stay at the Normandy Hotel did not meet your expectation. The hotel is not advertised as an air-conditioned property as we do not have such facility. We are really surprised of your investigation summary; It is not fair to say that we hide air-conditioning to guests as if we have such facility we... More

Don’t Do It…! The Normandy Hotel from the outside has all the charm of a Parisian Hotel complete with a gold plate proudly displaying a 4Star Rating. However the horror starts as you enter the foyer. This is certainly Not a 4Star Hotel! although they do charge like a 4 Start hotel. The whole place is run down, peeling paint,... More

Very helpful and friendly staff downstairs, and the location was incredible, but the hotel was self proclaimed to be a 4 star hotel, yet the room was incredibly old and worn and rough around the edges. But for the money and the location, totally worth it. The one thing i dont understand is their bathroom layout and setup, it was... More

Dear Sir/Madam, We thank you for sharing your hotel experience feedback. As mentioned we are well located with specious rooms. We are aware that the hotels rooms need renovation as they are dated. As you can see on our hotel official website, we are not advertised as a 4 stars hotel. Kind regards. The Normandy Management Team More

The Normandy Hotel has plenty of old-world charm. There were plenty of good choices for the breakfast, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent, as it is not far from the Louvre, Rue du Rivoli and Rue de l;Opera.
