5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I spent five lovely nights here in a spacious room with a small balcony overlooking the rooftops. The hotel is clean, it has character, and it is in a fantastic location to walk to lots of attractions. Heaps of choice for dinner within small radius of hotel. Really near pyramides tour office where my tours left from early in the... More

No where else in the world this hotel will have 4 stars - rooms definitely are in need of some renovations. Apart from that though hotel is perfect location - walking distance to all main attractions. Room was quite large as for Parisian standards with comfortable bed. Staff was polite and helpful.

Excellent location. Really central to the best spots in Paris. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, large and comfortable. Don't expect to watch TV, very limited channels, but hey, you're in Paris who needs TV when there's a city to explore!

The location was excellent, walking distance to most of the main attractions. The decor was a little tired as has been previously reviewed, which I liked as it gave more of the Parisian atmosphere. The room was large and mostly quiet. I found the staff more than helpful, considering my poor French. I would welcolme the opportunity to be able... More

This is a very central Parisian hotel quite next to Louvre museum and very near to most city's monuments! The rooms are nice but need renovation. Upper floor rooms have a great view to Paris rooftops including also the Louvre ones. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast, depending on the day can be from decent to very good.... More

I had booked a second room category 2 months in advance for 1 night Dec 5-6,2014. I have been staying at this hotel since 2003 and must have stayed there at least 10 times. Then I choose another hotel since the runs are very old and tired. However the other that I moved to was sold out and hence I... More

This hotel is older, but charming. Our hotel room was very large. Everything was clean. It wasn't modern and updated, but we enjoyed that about the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. And it has a great location. The Louvre was very close, and there was plenty of other sites/shopping/restaurants near by as well. We would definitely stay here... More

I mean honestly who cares about the room as long as it is not like a hostel. The room was nice enough and the amenities were good enough. The best part was the location in which you could walk there, go do something and come back and take a break. I highly recommend staying here.

But this is only one of few advantages. Everything is quite dated and personnel is far from being client-oriented. But the location is really superb. Louvre museum is only 200 meters away. Also a lot of shops nearby.

So Exciting to See a Filming Crew in the lobby and in front of the hotel It really seems strange to try to walk into your hotel and are stopped and told to cross the street. But, it is MY hotel. Everyone is so excited because a famous movie director from Georgia (formerly of the Soviet Union) is filming a... More
