My family of six spent three nights at this place. We booked three rooms, so we were not an insignificant booking. The hotel is a 4 star fraud! To begin with, the rooms were dirty. The carpeting was soiled and bunching up from the floor. We did not even want our feet to touch the floor surface. The bathroom sinks... more

This is a perfect hotel. It's grand and old and redone. Two inner courtyards, pool and spa. We had a lovely air conditionned suite for 4 people , hard to find in Paris at a great rate which included a full breakfast. The staff were helpful with suggestions. The metro was exactly across the street. Excellent location. more

From the look of the lobby & bar, you expect the hotel rooms to be much nicer. The common areas on the first floor are lovely, but the rooms desperately need updating. the carpet is rough industrial & the furniture is drab and ugly. The service, however, was very accommodating. We were woken at 6AM by noise from the street... more

We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights, leaving May 17th. The front entrance reopened on Tuesday May 12th, so forget the stories about searching for the side entrance. Agree with everyone that the location can't be beat. The Tuileries Metro station is straight across the street, the Louvre two blocks down the Rue de Rivoli, Musee d'Orsay just across... more

Let's start with the positive points (room service and the Spa) Except these 2 positive points, I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE!! Before the booking, I saw many critics on tripadvisor, I thought people exagerated their stay...Now I believe what I read!! Normaly this is a 4 star hotel. I stayed in a standard room (rack rate: 400€ per night).... more

Great location....wonderful breakfast buffet. Book the "family package" if you can. It includes 2 nights room, free non-alcoholic drink for each person, buffet breakfast for 2 mornings, 2 tickets to the louvre and a gift for each child staying with you (my daughter got a cute litte bear with a Paris sweater on). Employees are very nice and most speak... more

This hotel is situated in a great location to tour Paris, but your money is better spent on booking another hotel. The rooms are extremely small, i felt like I was living in Narnia, i,e living in a wardrobe. The room was extremely dirty and on complaining to the reception they were just not bothered. Also the indoor pool area... more

Really the best thing about this hotel is the location. The building itself is nice, having been home to a Duke at one time, but as they were renovating the place when we stayed it was hard to appreciate the full extent of the decor. Courtyards beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived and at... more

Stayed in this hotel for a 3 night stay with my wife and 10 month old. Hotel is being renovted at present so I give it some slack. The service was very good, everyone at check in was pleasant and efficient. We were upgraded on arrival to a duplex room which was a great surprise considering we had a baby... more

We had read some very mixed reviews on this hotel after we booked, and were a little worried. When we got there the staff were very helpful and we were upgraded to a Junior Suite. The hotel is in a great location to discover Paris. It is across from the Tulleries Gardens, (get off at the Tulleries metro), and a... more
