This tiny little place has some history, lots of character and is well located. It is situated in one of Paris' unique covered 'passages' walkways. The elevator/lift is smaller than a phonebooth, but it got me to the 4th flr. My room looked out over the Paris rooftops and because the hotel is situated in a passage is well set... More

I found the hotel to be in a great location and easy to get to. Great friendly staff, I would stay there again. Charming hotel. Metro access is very close by, lots of great places close by that are easy to walk to.

I'd long wanted to stay at the Hotel Chopin simply because of its location--inside Passage Jouffroy, one of the city's extraordinary arcades. I really didn't know what it would be like inside, though. But to my delight, it turned out to be like the best kind of hotel from a half-century ago, simple and comfortable, and with a friendly staff... More

we loved this hotel where we came already . it' s a bit of nostalgia in the center of Paris . A bit old fashioned, and located in the middle of an old passage (Passage Jeoffroy) full of nice boutiques and shops. Close to musee Grevin. Quiet and welcoming (new employees are warmer than the others used to be, especially... More

I very much enjoyed this hotel as it gives you a true feel of Paris. The location could not be more romantic (and very close to a metro!), and this building is truly a gem: of slightly faded charm perhaps, quaint and individual. The breakfast room is elegant if small, and the breakfast is generous and of excellent quality, with... More

Back in the old days , no hush and nice rooms , they saw a lot of people in all those years. The owner didn't change much in all those years and i hope they neber will. The hotel is build in a "passage"witch gives it a special glance.

The Hotel Chopin is an older but very well kept hotel. Rooms are quite small but the bathroom is modern. The entire property is clean and well maintained. The location is very central. There's a metro station out front and the covered passage that leads to the front door is full of charming shops.

We have just returned from another stay in the Hotel Chopin, and the place felt like home from home. It was very comfortable, clean and cosy - as well as being charming and pretty. OK, it is small with few facilities but well situated and amazingly good value. Breakfast is lovely too. Thank you dear Hotel Chopin for existing. We... More

The hotel was a throw back to another time. The rooms were small but clean. They need one less table in the breakfast room. Entry is one of a kind glass roof arcade like entry with intestring shops lining the hall

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
