This was our second stay at St Paul and it didn't disappoint. Ideal location and very helpful staff, particularly Catherine in reception. Our room had a quaint decor and very clean. One of the most pleasant breakfast rooms you will ever find. Lots of restaurants in the square behind the hotel.

This hotel is in a great location. The front desk are eager to help, pleasant, charming and knowledgeable. The lobby area, outdoor patio, and breakfast "cave" are all pleasant and well maintained. The rooms are drab as well as the bathrooms very outdated. There is a lot of street noise as many people stay out until late night/early morning hours.... More

After a lot of internet research I choose Hotel Saint Paul Le Marais for the location and the Parisian ambience of the room. The room I was given did not disappoint. During my stay both of the concierges were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Location wise the hotel was perfect. The hotel restaurant recommendations were great, in fact I revisited Le... More

Stayed for 3 nights in October. Really good location - in terms of the immediate vicinity and the number of notable places that can be reached within a 15 mins walk. Metro is just across the road. Room was clean, comfortable and decent size (by Paris standards), and staff were obliging. Probably not an ideal choice for visitors who wish... More

Just a block from the Saint Paul Metro stop, this lovely hotel is in the perfect location; right in the heart of the Marais neighborhood. Surrounded by fabulous restaurants and trendy shopping, and an easy walk to Isle de St. Louis, the hotel makes for a perfect home base. You can zip over to the Louvre, and other places of... More

Location is perfect in Paris, in Le Marais. Walking distance to a lot of interesting places, Rooms are normal small. Breakdast ok, in the basement - an old vine cellar? City noise and noise from other guests are disturbing the sleep. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I just spent a week at the Hotel St. Paul Le Marais. A small, quaint property in a fantastic location. I picked the property through a referral then when I read on trip advisor that the staff was friendly and helpful, that sealed the deal for me. I was traveling alone in Paris and do not speak French. Cyril, the... More

This is nice and modest small hotel with personal touch. The staff is helpful and very polite. The rooms are ok in terms of space, very clean and a bit oldish. It is nice surprise there is free wifi everywhere in the hotel. The prices are high and it is strange, even not acceptable that the breakfast is not included.... More

We spent 3 nights and were well received. Service very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. The only small grudge is about the noise outside on a warm summer's night but that can't be blamed on the hotel and was easily repaired by using ear plugs. The location was great for our purposes. Bus stop around the corned and Metro about... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
