Hotel is in a quiet street of Le Marais, historical centre of Paris. Nice, though staff is probably a bit overly casual. Had a single room, extremely small, but very suitable for one night. Current internet price (€ 98) is excellent, but I would never pay the rack rate (€ 235) for this.

Cute hotel. Small but cozy room, free wifi, nice bathroom. Location is ideal and staff very nice. Breakfast decent, but adding whole grain bread and fresh fruit would be ideal. Quiet despite being very central. As a single person, the room was ideal, but two might feel crowded.

I cannot say enough about this hotel! It's bar none, the best/friendliest service I've ever received in Paris which is saying a lot - I've been there a ton of times. Catherine and Cyril in particular went above and beyond to ensure my stay met my requirements and was a beautiful one. They really took care of me and I'll... More

Full compliments to the staff who were all most welcoming and went out of their way to assist. The hotel is in a great location with access to many locations. Nice restaurants and shops close by too. The room was appropriate for price and location. Bar and lounge downstairs was pleasant, and a little unusual to find in a Paris... More

The Hotel Saint Paul Le Marais is located just down the street from the St. Paul church and very near the St. Paul Metro station. Rooms are relatively small but tastefully decorated and very clean. The beds and linens are comfortable. The staff at both the front desk and in the breakfast room are friendly and efficient - and most... More

After a Air BnB apartment booking went horrible wrong and we found ourselves on the footpath with our luggage we stumbled into Hotel Saint Paul. Cyril behind reception was our knight in shining armour. He spent the next 30 mins on the phone to Air BnB explaining our plight and then handing the phone over to us to complete the... More

The staff was welcoming, kind, and helpful. Everyone speaks English and can help you map out how to get to different destinations around town. They serve breakfast downstairs and it was yummy and fresh. The hotel is in a great area, I felt very safe there. My sister and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for our first... More

Saint Paul le Marais is quaint and beautiful - great staff, perfect location. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly helpful and provided suggestions for restaurants and travel. Less than 15 minute walk to Notre Dame. Wonderful neighborhood. Great food within a block's walk. Thanks to the staff for making my 1st Paris visit so enjoyable!

This hotel is in a great location - a block off Rue de Rivoli in the heart of the Marais district - and has great old world atmosphere. As mentioned by other reviewers, the staff could not be more helpful (thank you Catherine!) and you got the impression that if you had a problem or emergency they would do anything... More

We chose this hotel for its location. Very close to Place des Voges, with its fantastic restaurants and atmosphere. The delightful musee Carnavalet is just up the road, free and well worth a visit. The hotel receptionists spoke perfect English and couldn't have been more helpful. It is right opposite a fire station but fortunately, no major incidents occurred during... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
