I should have done more research but I didn't do my homework so I hope my review will open your eyes. Great location but overall hotel is a C- An A on the scale is superb. Tiny rooms, very low grade towels and no good energy, breakfast very plain, if all of this doesn't bother you then stay but for... More

You can't fault the location of this hotel. I could walk very nearly anywhere I wanted to go. There were shops and restaurants all around and even though it was very central, the noise level was at a minimum in our room. The rooms were good value, and clean and the staff were both friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel with English-speaking staff. Wonderful area, just two blocks from the St. Paul Metro stop -- so very convenient. You are paying for location. Rooms are average to small. Wish it was larger for the price. Also wish it included a continental breakfast for the price. Expensive and not so sure it was worth it -- but it is... More

We just returned from our stay in Paris! The Hotel Saint Paul Le Marais was a lovely oasis in the busy city. While the rooms are small compared to American hotels, they were clean and lovely. The breakfasts were good. But the best part was the staff. All were professional, friendly and welcoming, especially Catherine. She went out of her... More

We had pre booked a room for a two night city break. We asked for an upper floor room when we booked. So we arrived at the hotel and were given a key for room 113. We took the key and went upstairs to a small room on the first floor directly on the street opposite the fire station entrance.... More

Marais is a cool neighbourhood with lots of shopping, good restaurants and sights and this hotel was really well located for all of it. About 200 m to St. Paul metro Station, walking distance to Centre Pompidou, Hotel de Ville, Les Halles, Notre Dame... The room was small but clean and had a funky decor, the bed and pillows were... Yes, the rooms are tiny in this lovely little boutique hotel in Le Marais, but the staff are extraordinary -- wonderfully helpful and friendly. And there's so much to enjoy within walking distance, or the St. Paul Metro station is a block and a half away. Breakfast was also a great pleasure. Relax and enjoy!

If you want a reasonably priced and perfectly situated boutique Hotel in Le Marias, This is a great choice. The room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated-walking distance to everything in Paris, The staff was extremely helpful and kind in giving directions and suggestions in English. Have stayed there before and will stay there again.

This is a lovely little 3 star hotel in a great location. The Marais is a great neighbourhood to explore and close to everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night unfortunately. Our room was very small but fine for one night. I would investigate the rooms more closely if I was staying longer.

I recently spent a week at the Hotel St Paul Le Marais with my son. This was my third trip to Paris , this hotel was the best boutique hotel I have stayed in. The location was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and pleasant. The hotel staff was amazing. They assisted me in use of public transportation and had... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
