The hotel was small but gave us a great experience . Their location is very convinient, with all the shops , restaurants around and also Laduree just opposite to the hotel . The room is beautifully decorated, I must say that despite their limitation of space , they do manage make the best out of it. The room was clean... More

The location is perfect for touring Paris. Restaurants, museums and points of interest are in the area of the hotel so touring is very easy. Hotel breakfast is more than good and price is right. The room is small but adequate but the bathroom is tiny. Stall shower is large enough but the rest of room is beyond small. For... More

This small tastefully renovated hotel is in a great location in Saint Germain. Really lovely rooms with comfortable beds and good size bathrooms including a great bath for soaking after a busy day touring the city. Great breakfast selection and a bar open till midnight. I highly recommend and will return. My new favourite Paris hotel

Three city tour of Europe. I wasn't expecting for Paris to be my favorite, but it SO was and the excellent staff and amenities at this hotel are a big part of the reason. The rooms are sexy chic. The housekeeping staff is beyond awesome. Top to bottom they made us all feel like welcome guests. And Paris. It is... More

We have stayed at several hotels in this wonderful area; but La Villa Saint-Germain may be the best yet. The location is excellent. It's quiet, spotless and very comfortable. The decor is modern and chic -- although one pays a price for the nifty designer nature of the bathroon fixtures in a certain lack of functionality (not really an issue).... More

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon while in Paris. The hotel is centrally located and we were able to walk to most of the landmarks in Paris. The rooms are modern and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay here again when we return to Paris.

La Villa Saint - Germany provided the perfect accommodation for our first wedding anniversary, in Paris. The greeting was very welcoming and the staff remained friendly throughout. The room itself was clean and inviting. A complimentary upgrade was provided because of out anniversary. The location was perfect. Not too busy but close enough to the major areas of interest. I... Stayed in the hotel for a night while passing through Paris and had a very good experience. The hotel is clean and in a fantastic location; as with many hotels in central Paris the rooms are somewhat small but that is to be expected. The hotel staff were very helpful, I would definitely recommend it and would stay again next... More

This was our first trip to Paris and we could not have chosen a better setting than La Villa Saint-Germain. The staff are warm and welcoming and ready to assist in any way. Our room was #38 - modern, plenty of storage, comfortable beds, efficient air conditioning. And it was quiet! We could walk everywhere. There are such nice cafes... More

Having never been to Paris, I researched hotels for many weeks, trying to decide location, size, price, etc. This little boutique had good reviews and the location seemed idyllic...it was PERFECT for our first time in Paris! We arrived by train and taking a taxi to the hotel only took about 15 minutes. We arrived early but our room was... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
