I booked this hotel online with no other reco then some random review online. Thank you random review. The Villa is centrally located, the staff bends over backwards to help you with whatever you need help with. It felt like I was coming home to friends each night. Only 2 small negatives. The hair dryer and the temperature in the... More

This hotel is located in one of the best places in Paris. It provide you with an easy access to most of the major attraction on the left bank, as well as access to the metro which is near by. Great coffee places and fantastic restaurants. You can book a room with and without breakfast. There are not a lot... More

Great hotel nice and quiet but in a super location. Hotel staff very good - there if you need them but don't bother you. Will be staying again! (one improvement would be to have a coffee maker in room or a coffee machine in reception)

Long overdue review. The hotel is in a great location. Rue Jacob is a very pretty street, with lots of cafes nearby, and it’s nice being so close to the river. Easy access to the metro. We had a nice, quiet, recently remodeled room, with a small, but very nice, bathroom. It was a club room, so it was a... More

We spent a couple of days in the hotel just before Xmas and were very happy with our choice. The location is very good - it is in St Germain, central but still quiet and a lot is within walking distance. There are many restaurants, cafés and bars around the hotel which makes it easy to go out in the... More

the free high speed internet was amazingly slow, less that 1Mbps. The lift did not work. There is no coffee maker in the room and the breakfast was skimpy with cold coffee to round it off. On the plus side, the rooms were well appointed, very clean, totally sound proof, location is convenient and the staff are super helpful.

Dear jfburrows, I am sorry to read that we were unable to provide the guest experience that you were looking for. I have personally raised your concerns. During your stay, due to a minor maintenance issue, our lift was out of order for 2 hours. (It took 2 hours for the technicien to arrive & to fix the problem). Regarding... More

I had one night to spend passing through Paris and based on experience of staying here last summer I chose this hotel knowing I would not be disappointed. While other somewhat cheaper choices were available in the same general location (in my opinion the best area to stay in Paris after trying a few) I elected to go back to... More

This is a lovely hotel in the heart of bustling St Germain, with its cafes and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance! Despite it being in the heart of action, it's surprisingly quiet. The staff are helpful and friendly. We had a club room which gives a little more room. My one and only criticism is that the bathroom is... More

Excellent location, close to some of the best restaurants and sights.Rooms were of a decent size and well maintained. Best part is the service. Everyone was so warm and friendly-Olivier who works in the evening especially was such a joy. Would come back again for sure.

Good location, 10-15 minutes walk from RER, so you can go directly from/to airport on RER B line (Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame station), closest metro station is Saint-Germain-des-Pres) on line 4 (5 minutes walk). Modern, well designed and maintained property, friendly and professional staff. Stayed the second time in club room, top floor, generous size for Paris, very quiet and nice rooftop view,... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
