We stayed there last July because of Trip Advisor high number. I am writing so others don't repeat our mistake. We booked a year in advance for July and asked for a quiet room. First night our air conditioner was broken, told it would be fixed, it wasn't we were given a fan, and no discount for our inconvenience. Second... More

This hotel is a delight, our room had a sitting room separate es from the bedroom be large ancient wooden posts. The ceiling also had large wooden beams and the original wooden corner posts were also evident in the marble bathroom, giving the whole room a sense of Parisian history. We were welcomed on arrival by the friendly staff who... More

Ideally located nearby Odeon theater, boulevard St Germain, Café Flore, opposite to my favourite bar-Restaurant Les Editeurs, this hôtel is the true charming dream one would hope to find in St. Germain. Excellent food (the restaurant belongs to a famous French Chef) original rooms, perfect service (somewhat obsequious but very high class)... What else can one dream of? ONLY problem,... More

Hotel Relais Saint-Germain is a lovely, small hotel on the left bank. Some of the rooms have private gardens, a definite plus, bur all the rooms are comfortable, and beautifully decorated. There is a room for breakfast which is satisfactory but not great. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

If you like a hotel with cozy elegant comfort in spacious well decorated rooms dating back to the 17th century, fabulous breakfasts included in your rate and served whenever you want to your room!!! - staff that REALLY cares about your well being ( and I don't mean the " score points on Tripadvisor superficial quick kind" , then this... We have stayed at the Hotel Relais Saint-Germain twice now and both experiences were perfection. This not a large hotel, if you need a massive room and full on American service this is not the place for you. This is Parisian luxury at its best. Quiet, romantic, accommodating and with spectacular food and one of the hardest reservations in town... More

Arrived late at night with 2 young children after flying from the other side of the world, exhausted but elated by the prospect of staying a few days in this fabulous hotel in an awesome Paris location. We couldn't believe it when we were told that our booking had been cancelled and no room was available for us!! It never... More

One needs only walk through the front door to realize what a unique property this is. The room was amazing. Spacious, a view that was charming, fantastic location. Preferred seating for the restaurant, in room breakfast free, a lovely little sitting area downstairs and of course Avant Le Comptoir. We stayed for two evenings in a junior suite which has... More

I stayed at the Relais Saint-Germain for four nights over the new year holiday with my husband and I in one room (Room 11) and my parents in another room (Room 41). This hotel was excellent in every possible way and we really felt like we had nailed the accommodation. Firstly, the service leading up to the stay was fantastic.... More

I had the pleasure of staying here over the Christmas holiday and highly recommend this hotel. The location is excellent in the picturesque Saint-Germain-des-Prés area. It’s a colorful, lively neighborhood with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. The hotel is right around the corner from the Odéon Metro stop so public transportation is very convenient. However, in such a beautiful... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
