Lovely, small, well located hotel on the Left Bank. Wonderful staff, decent sized room (for Paris) and loved the Hermes toiletries ! Good sized breakfast buffet too. Has a nice courtyard for sitting and reading. At night they offer jazz performances at the bar.

We have been to this hotel 5 times and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Steps away from the heart of the left bank, and over the bridge to the Louvre. The staff is perfect, rooms are unique and quaint. Amenities are spot on. And you must visit Laurent in the bar!!!

A lovely, small hotel in central Paris. Excellent base for exploring the city. The staff are always helpful. Especially, Laurent in the lounge bar. Breakfast is good, with a really fresh selection. There is also a small internal courtyard to enjoy drinks in the evenings. We have stayed in this hotel several times now and would never consider anywhere else... More

Everything about this hotel is fantastic; decor, staff, ambiance and location. I booked directly with the hotel and made a few special requests; all of which were fulfilled. On early arrival; after an overnight flight from Canada, we were offered complimentary coffee or tea in the lounge. Lovely touch. Our room was outstanding. Much bigger than I expected, clean and... The location, the bar and the staff combine to make this our favorite hotel in Paris. My husband especially loved the martinis from the bar. We have stayed here twice and plan to book again for our next trip to Paris. As others have reported, you can walk anywhere from this hotel. We love to walk to Bon Marche, the... More

When in Paris, we skip most of the crowded tourist sights and just walk and walk and walk. Location here can't be beat. A block from the Seine, a few blocks from Notre-Dame and Luxembourg Gardens, too many cafes and restaurants to count. Nice sleeping rooms, well appointed bathroom. A little pricey - but it's Paris. We arrived at 10... More

When I visit Paris, I normally end up in a Hotel in the 1st Arrondissement, since my wife believes that we need to be close to a Chanel shop, to be able to enjoy a stay in this beautiful city. However this trip was purely business and I therefore booked a hotel in Saint-Germain-des-Prés and was more than pleasantly surprised... More

Just spent our third stay, dating back 5 years. Very well-appointed rooms, very quiet. Conveniently located three minutes from Blvd St. Germain and two minutes from the Seine. Close to two of the Metro lines. Staff are all very friendly and extremely eager to help in any way. Concierge had successfully secured restaurant reservations for us in advance of our... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
