The hotel is fine. Our room and bathroom were quite small despite it being an upgrade. It's a fine hotel, everything felt cramped. Bed was comfortable. Towels were not refreshed but calling housekeeping they did come quickly. Front desk staff were lovely and helpful. It was fine, nothing great but nothing awful.

For years I have walked by this hotel looking with interest through the door. Every time I considered staying here it seemed too expensive. This year I'd booked another hotel. Just before leaving for France I received a flash notice that the cost of a stay at d'Aubusson had dropped. Plans were changed. We LOVED our visit. Staff was lovely.... More

This has been my favorite Hotel for years, and continues to be. Perfectly located in Sainte Germane De Pre....top quality bedrooms, gorgeous bathrooms, quiet, comfortable beds and top linens! Marble bathrooms, great showers and tubs for soaking. Hermes products I adore and so will you. The service level is top, breakfast is the best and prettiest in Paris, delicious coffee... More

I'm sure I looked at over 100 hotels before deciding on d'Aubusson, and I am so very happy I did chose this hotel. The location is perfect 1 block from the Isle d Cite and therefore Hop on and Off Bus. We could easily walk to the Louve, Notre Dame, Shakespearre and Co. There was a street 1 block away... More

A boutique hotel that is spacious, and worked well. Having stayed at an out of the way funky hotel, this was a much more satisfactory option. The bar and residents lounge spacious and enticing. The clubby decor lends itself to a relaxing evening, and the Jazz, altho not top drawer, very acceptable for a free evening. Also the Deutx champagne... More

Stayed here for 5 nights during the holidays. With so many hotels to choose from in Paris I knew I wanted to stay in St. Germain-de-Pres. This is a charming hotel right in just the right spot. Rooms were large, hotel was modern but not too modern. The bar in the lobby and the lounge were just like being at... More

We spent a week here and enjoyed our stay very much - the discovery package was great. The front of house staff are very knowledgeable and professional, treating their guests with respect and at times with (necessarily) great patience. Breakfast was great with fresh cooked eggs available and attentive service. We specified a room away from the lift and the... More

This is a nice and charming boutique hotel in St Germain de Près - close to nice cafes and to good restaurants. The service is very good, the amenities are high quality Hermès products and there is a beautiful and convenient garden for smokers. Look for the Jazz nights at the bar... Simply great !

This was our first trip to Paris and the hotel was recommended by a friend. Lovely - just lovely. The staff on reception where friendly and helpful - special thanks to Audrey and Antoine and all the staff in general where very good. We stayed in a loft room facing the street - noise was not an issue and it... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2015

I am in total agreement with all previous positive reviews. It is a lovely place to stay. To me, the most memorable is the personable and helpful staff (particularly Jean, Luxman, Coralie), its location on the Left Bank close to the Seine, and lovely sitting room, garden courtyard, and breakfast dining room. Our 2nd floor room had been recently renovated... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
