The hotel located in Champs-Elysées area and is well furnished in home antique style. The hotel was also close to public transpiration (Metro & Bus) Wifi was slow some how, Breakfast buffet was good and Staff are helpful.

Whilst this hotel was clean, homely and quiet with beautiful period furniture and decor, the breakfast was daylight robbery and should be included in the price of the room. considering this hotel is about £300 per night. What I thought was absolutely terrible was the amount they charged for the in room refreshments which appear to be complimentry. However THEY... More

We were booked into this hotel in late June during what proved to be a perfect time to be in Paris. The booking was done through our very good travel agent, who assured us that the hotel had the kind of charm that we wanted and though it was on the Right Bank (we prefer the left) we would like... With so many hotels to choose from I decided to choose Hotel Balzac based on reviews and was so glad I did. We booked a 3 night stay and upon check in we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary and they upgraded us to a room with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower and the staff was polite, professional... The Balzac is located a few minutes walk from the Arc de Triumph. The hotel is charming ( and modern) in an old building. The rooms are of varying sizes, but are all well equipped. The breakfast buffet is well laid out and with fresh quality food. The staff is professional and very helpful. All in all the Balzac is... More

On the plus side, we managed to get a decent room rate for an hotel in the 8th Arrondissement so close to the Champs Elysee. The location really is excellent and it was super to have quick access to our air-conditioned room on an hot June day. The negatives, however, started at check-in. We sat and waited while the receptionist... More

Me and my husband were there for 3 nights, from the first day we were treated like royals.... From check in to concierge to our rooms being cleaned twice a day. Rooms were spacious enough for two person. Bathroom was very nice with a bathtub. The hotel was remodeled with a 19 th century lovely romantic decor. We did not... More

My sister and I stayed at Hotel Balzac for 9 days in May. It was the perfect spot for a shopping/dining/sight-seeing trip. Easy metro access, amazing restaurant, beautiful lobby and rooms. My only critiques would be at this price point I would have liked control of air conditioning system and check out procedure was difficult. Try to check out with... More

This hotel is perfectly situated for the Champ élysées . Given its location our room (311 luxury room) was very quiet. We went with another couple and we had paid an extra €100 per night per room for Eiffel Tower views - when we checked in, the receptionist told us the view was very limited and deducted the extra from... Previously had stayed at this property a few years back and really liked it at that time. This time it was below what I expected....not a five star hotel. Good location just off of Champs-Élysées. Otherwise would not recommend for any other reason. Some staff I felt were condescending and unprofessional. The room was dated and in need of some... More
