We just returned home from a weekend stay at the Hotel Balzac for my birthday. My husband booked the hotel as a surprise and he couldn't have picked a better place - right off the Champs Élysées and just a few minutes walk from the Arc du Triomphe - and such a beautiful hotel; stylish, elegant and full of character.... Classy hotel that is nicely furnished with friendly polite staff. Special thanks to the concierge Michel who organised a few things for us. Breakfast was delicious however the prices overall were high. Wifi was not very strong either. Having views of the Eiffel Tower certainly added to the whole experience coupled with the fact Champs Elysee was literally around the... More

Just stayed in Hotel Balzac Paris. The location is fantastic if you want to stay beside the champs élysées without having the noise. We didn't hear a sound. The hotel is very Parisian, nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Small dining room for breakfast with nice relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast is definitely not worth paying for considering there are... More

It is one block away from the heart of champs elysees and one block away also from the metro and taxi station. The room is super comfy and the staff was amazing! breakfast is not the best and pricy also.

Whilst this hotel was clean, homely and quiet with beautiful period furniture and decor, the breakfast was daylight robbery and should be included in the price of the room. considering this hotel is about £300 per night. What I thought was absolutely terrible was the amount they charged for the in room refreshments which appear to be complimentry. However THEY... More

We were booked into this hotel in late June during what proved to be a perfect time to be in Paris. The booking was done through our very good travel agent, who assured us that the hotel had the kind of charm that we wanted and though it was on the Right Bank (we prefer the left) we would like... Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th-century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
