Truly enjoyed this hotel on a recent 3 night stay in Paris for my wife and I. Convenient location to many Paris attractions...also VERY easy access to metro. Several outstanding restaurants several doors down from the hotel...highly recommend Moustache and Invictus. The staff at Hotel Sainte Beuve were tremendously helpful, friendly and accommodating. Rooms were small--( and we had the... More

We'd had a tough trip. Delayed almost 9 hours. Our luggage lost for days. But the staff at hotel St. Beuve were kind and helpful. Paulette and Letitia worked hard to help us. Letitia continued to help us find our luggage even after we checked out! It is quiet, cute, and cozy. The breakfast was delicious. The room was comfortable... More

My wife & i stayed here on the 22nd to 25th of Fed 2015, our 1st time in Paris, the hotel is in a perfect spot to explore the city, close to metro & buses, so close to lots of great restaurants & the best chocolate shops in Paris. our stay was wonderful, the hotel staff are so nice &... More

My husband & I recently spent several nights in this lovely hotel after an early departure from another hotel in Paris. What a delight; from the friendly & helpful staff to the welcoming lobby (with wood burning fireplace!) and a most comfortable bed. The room was cosy but quiet and the quality of sleep was superb. There are some quite... More

Our 2 nd time staying in this small hotel, on a quiet street, close to Metro stations and numerous excellent restaurants. Staff are very friendly and speak perfect English. Very clean which is really important to me. Will definitely stay here again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in mid-Jan. of 2015. The hotel is a little pricey, and yes, the rooms are the standard Euro size, but in terms of location and service, you will find no better! Location-wise, it is very close to a metro stop, but we managed to walk to all major sites (they are all mostly within 2... More

We stayed for three nights and thoroughly loved staying at this hotel. One of our concerns staying in Paris was traffic noise, but even with our forward facing room on the 5th floor, we weren't bothered by the streets below. Our room was cosy but beautifully decorated. Bed was very comfortable. Great eating locally and easy access to the Metro... More

Charming hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Can't beat the location. On a quiet side street - but only a short walk to many restaurants and shops. Very close to Luxembourg gardens, close to subway stations, and walkable to many Paris sites. The rooms were small, but well appointed and well maintained.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
