The plus factor about this charming hotel is that it peaceful and silent. You can sleep with your window wide open an in the morning there are no sirens or cars to be heard. Great staff, rooms are fine - not that big but this is Paris after all. I will definitely return!

Dear Mr_Puffet, Thank you very much for sharing your experience. We are pleased to read that you enjoyed staying with us. Saint-Germain des Près is a lively area with Brasserie Lipp, Les Deux Magots or Café de Flore, but even if we are in the center of the area, we are lucky to be hidden in a quiet courtyard. Rooms... I love this hotel when Im traveling solo in Paris. What a wonderful find tucked into a corner off Rue Jacob in St Germain de Pres. Perfect if you like small rooms (very small) with an authentic Paris feel- which I do! Decor is quirky in a Parisian way which I think is great. Probably wouldnt suit someone who wants... More

Dear Heidi2010, What can we say except "thank you very much for your kind comment"?! The whole staff were touched by the words used to describe your experience at Hotel Des Marronniers. You gave true and interesting informations to readers. Rooms are not big, it is important to know, and decoration, even if it is renovated, is not modern. We... More

Great left bank location less than 5 mins walk from St Germain metro. Easy walking distance to Louvre, Notre Dame, Musee d' Orsay etc. Lots of restaurants nearby + left bank designer shops. Rooms are very small but perfectly comfortable. My bathroom was the size of a large cupboard but everything worked and who spends their time in Paris in... More

Dear ST0801, We thank you for sharing your opinion about your stay at Hotel Des Marronniers. As you wrote it, our rooms, specially single rooms, are not big at all. However, we tried to make it nice and comfortable, and we are pleased to read that you appreciated that. Saint-Germain des Près is very central, and you can walk to... More

This is an elegant Hotel with excellent amenities in an ideal location near the heart of Paris. We walked to our favorite neighborhoods, museums, shops, restaurants, churches. The staff was friendly and helpful with cabs, shuttles, directions. We liked the Hotel so much we returned the following week before we departed Paris.

Great place Amazing service: thank you Laurence, Judith, Chantal... Amazing location: quiet and nice garden, close to Saint Germain des Prés church and subway... Little "bémol": small rooms + noise of the doors very annoying

Like, as I have come to find out< all Paris this hotel is ridiculously priced for what you get particularly as breakfast is an extra $15 euro each per night rather than included. Our room for 5 nights was a slightly larger garden view room and I just survived. The room next to us was obviously a lot tinier and... More

Dear George C, Thank you for choosing our hotel for your visit of Paris. We are glad to read that you "survived" to your room. It seems that you have come to Paris few years ago and as many other cities, it changed. But when you live in Paris, you know more than one place that are quiet, authentic and... More

Have been to Paris many times and just sorry that we'd not found this hotel sooner. Charming and blissfully quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the courtyard for our Happy Hour in the late afternoon. Breakfast was wonderful, as well. The staff are helpful and very pleasant. The room and bath clean and cozy. Next trip we will try to get... More

Extremly nicely located, however rooms are very small (as most Paris Hotels). Reception very nice and helpful, easy to get around by taxi or public transportation. We did not try the breakfast as there are plenty of restaurants in the area.

I was in another hotel that wasn't cutting it for me when I wandered into the front courtyard of Hôtel des Marrionners.
