We spent a lot of time trying to find a great location. After choosing Saint Germain Des Pres area, we did significant research into which hotel to book. We could not have been happier with Hotel Artus. Staff was excellent. Sanjay was so helpful, and so knowledgable of restaurants to visit, which sites to visit at which times, and on... More

Yes, the Artus Hotel puts you in a great location just off Saint-Germain-des-Pres—and two blocks from communing with Papa Hemingway's spirit at Cafe Les Deux Magots. Yes, the Artus is quiet, clean, and crisply appointed in contemporary furnishings. Yes, the buffet breakfast laid out every morning is so complete (including wonderful yoghurts and fresh-squeezed juices) that you may be tempted... More

I spent 3 fantastic nights at the Artus Hotel while traveling with my 13 year-old niece in May. The location is perfect, the value is amazing, and the service exceptional. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful, and Sanjay is one in a million. We felt safe, comfortable and never lost. All our requests were taken care of - including... More

My husband and I spent five nights at the Hotel Artus for our 20 year wedding anniversary, and I actually changed from another hotel to Artus after reading reviews of the hotel, and mostly Sanjay. And I am so glad we did! The hotel is in the best part of Paris, the St. Germain district is alive, bustling, full of... More

This is a quiet, small, boutique hotel with a modern ambiance in a fabulous location. In fact the decor reminded me of a "Mad Men" set. Sanjay, the concierge seems to be the soul of the Artus. He was so warm and welcoming and helped us with all our reservation needs. The entire staff was friendly. The rooms are well... More

After almost ten different hotels in Paris that I stayed in previously, I finally found the right one. Doesn't matter whether for business or weekend break, it is absolutely perfect in all ways - location, design, frontdesk team, breakfast, sleep quality - everything is just so very adequate, elegant and worth the price you are paying. I shouldn't probably recommend... More

Thank you so much!!! It seems like we met your expectations and that is very rewarding indeed. We treat guests like people, not room numbers; that is so important to us. Please come back! Very best regards, Grégoire Berthelot - General Manager More

We concluded a trip to France with a three night stay at the Hotel Artus. There are numerous restaurants and shops in the area and it is also a very manageable walk to the Louvre and beyond. The staff were exceptionally helpful and gracious. Our room was well appointed and the bed very comfortable. WiFi in the room was consistent.... More

We stayed at Artus May 13th-14th. The location is terrific whether you want to see the sights or just enjoy St. Germain. We stayed in room 116 which was a "superior plus double room". It was perfect. The bed was bigger than other hotels I was considering as was the square footage of the room. Most people complain about small... More

My husband's birthday present was a trip to Paris--a first for both of us! Instead of reading hundreds of reviews and taking a chance, I decided to book a room at the Artus Hotel which was highly recommended by a family member. The hotel sits on a busy street surrounded by the hustle and bustle of city life--restaurants to bakeries... More

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of May and had a wonderful relaxing stay. The hotel is 2 mins walk from the metro station and a short ride on the metro straight through from the Gare du Nord so is very easy to get to. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
