Beautiful little neighbourhood in St Germain, just a 10 minute walk to the Seine and within walking distance of many attractions. There are great restaurants just a short walk away - I'd recommend Petit Zinc and Vagenande. The rooms are small but well-appointed. Surprisingly good breakfast in a basement area that was very tastefully decorated and inviting. Sanjay is an... More

Wonderful hotel- clean, staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are small but well appointed. The neighborhood is unbelievably charming, with lots of shops and restaurants. Hotel is also centrally located, so we walked almost everywhere we wanted to go. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to friends/ family.

We spent a chilly 4 days in Paris, and loved this small cozy hotel. Our room was on the 5th floor and whilst the room was small this isn't unusual for hotels in Paris. It was very quiet and the staff were very helpful. Having access to a printer was very useful for printing tickets and itineraries. One point to... More

Location, location, location! A short and enjoyable stroll in any direction will take you to many Paris attractions. We would normally use the Metro but did not need to as we found what we wanted close by. Apart from the obvious central Paris monuments, churches, gardens etc, there are many many excellent shops and restaurants literally within 100 metres of... More

Sanjay is amazing and exceeds all the rave reviews you can see online! He followed up with hand-written notes during our stay, which was during Thanksgiving week, as well as a post-trip follow-up email. Sanjay and staff made great recommendations and secured the hard-to get Picasso Museum tickets while we were in town. All of the tickets, recommendations, and reservations... More

Sanjay of course was the star of the hotel. I thought the hotel was great situated in a wonderful area for walking eating and browsing. I thought that for the price of the hotel the bottled waters in the lobby should have been complementary I found the breakfast buffet adequate . Overall I would stay there again.

Just had a delightful 5 night stay at the Artus. Thanksgiving week was surprisingly busy with still many tourists but nowhere near as much as in the summer. The concierge, Sanjay, was the best we have encountered in our many travels. He was very helpful with travel advice and restaurant reservations where we were always treated very well when we... An enjoyable stay at the colourful Artus in the heart of Saint Germain. We had a typically small left bank boutique hotel room but with a wonderfully comfortable bed! Fantastic concierge – Sanjay really most helpful with restaurant recommendations and offering tickets to the Picasso Museum at 20 euros a ticket which saves on queueing time. If you're going to... Sanjay, our concierge, was the most outstanding and professional concierge I have ever had. He was kind enough to confirm all of our dinner reservations for each night of our stay and left hand written notes on details of the restaurants location & reservation time. In addition, he also printed out a map of the location of the restaurant. I... More

I was lured to this hotel by the excellent reviews at TripAdvisor and Expedia. But ultimately it fell short of those reviews, in my experience. First, I booked a room with a queen sized bed, which was clearly stated on my booking confirmation. Instead, I was given a room with two single beds. There is no excuse for that. It... More

Dear EZCWorldtravel, I am very sad and dissapointed to learn that you don't have good souvenirs about us... But I am surprised as well. As you can see on Trip Advisor, most of our clients are very happy with the hotel and its services. If there is a problem to solve, we react immediately. It is very important to us... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
