What a lovely quirky hotel. Room was small but nice, comfy and clean. Bathroom bit small but okay. All the receptionists we met, were so friendly, helpful and gave service with smile. Only thing with the room (room 21) the shower head need replacing, and need improvement with hot beverage. Not much choices of tea. Otherwise lovely. Would stay there... More

This is a great location in the center of Paris. The breakfast is very good and the staff is very helpful. My only complaint is the the size of the room. It was pricey although it was very small. If they put the price a little lower I would have given it a 100%.

If you haven't traveled much, particularly in Europe, this may not be the right place for a first trip to Paris. The rooms are small by American standards, but perfectly comfortable and clean. The shower is wonky, but the bathtub generous. The location is excellent and the street quiet and night, but you check your key with the desk each... More

My wife and I stayed at this fine little hotel from Feb12-16, 2015 and found it to be an ideal location for our Paris stay. The staff was always warm and inviting and helped us with any question we had and Adrien in particular was very helpful. The room, while small my US standards, was fine with us as we... More

Me and my 10-year old daughter stayed at this hotel for three nights and we loved it!! It was everything we hoped for after reading the good reviews. The hotel is quaint and has a lot of personality and Parisian atmosphere to it. Yes, the rooms are tiny, but it is clean and the beds are super comfortable. Location is... More

Stayed during a short break in Paris. Hotel is a little quirky and we had a tiny room. Saying that we enjoyed our stay, breakfast was very good value. It's ideally located for seeing Paris. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby in the Latin Quarter.

This hotel was a nice find. The lobby is neat, good breakfasts, a small bar that nobody seems to know about, and comfortable rooms. The only real complaint is noise. There is a bar not directly below the hotel but close enough that you hear the late-night revelers, shall I say. Pack something to help you sleep and you'll be... More

This hotel is pretty centrally situated for most tourist activities. It's about a 10 minute walk to Notre Dame, 15 minutes to the Louve, 30 minutes on the RER (line c) or a 50 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, a 10 minute walk plus a 45 minute ride on the RER (line a) to Disneyland Paris, 30 minute ride... My daughter and I stayed here just before Christmas and couldn't believe our luck in choosing this hotel. We had a gorgeous room with a view onto rue Dauphine, the water and croissants in reception were a welcome treat after a day of sightseeing and the staff were all so very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic. We were... More

Everything about this hotel was delightful. The correspondence prior to arrival was fast and informative. The bar and dining room was absolutely charming. They even provided glasses and table service for us when we brought in our own food and champagne!!! The staff was beyond helpful. And the location...super fun neighborhood and a short walk to just about anywhere we... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
