My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days during our Honeymoon in July. We loved the location as it was close to a lot of shopping, restaurants and key Paris location. The staff was very helpful and excellent with anything we needed. While some reviews say the rooms are small, we didnt find this a problem. We... More

Although I had problems with accessing WiFi and TV issues for 3 days, I want to commend Marina, a staff member. She was most pleasant and tried to answer/address my concerns. She was patient and explained the cause of the problems I encountered and made every effect to make the stay pleasant.

I was looking for several things when booking this hotel. A room for 4 people, breakfast included in price(not easy to find), great location(one in our group uses a wheelchair,so Paris metro is not an option),elevator, and air-conditioning. This hotel met all requirements very nicely for a reasonable price for the area. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke English. The lobby... More

It's Paris where hotel rooms can be small and often expensive - I appreciate that. However, this hotel has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. A VERY small, dirty and dingy room. Not a good start when the door to the room is dirty and shabby, though worst was to come. The bathroom was small but... More

The thought of staying in an highly recommended hotel in the Latin Quarter was so overwhelming I left the booking to others. Regrettably the hotel booked by the travel agent failed to live up to the expected standards requested. On arrival the room I was shown was decidedly inadequate and reached by a severly twisting and long staircase. I decided... More

Close to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Sorbonne, Seine river cruises, St. Chappell, etc., walking distance to key places to visit - easy access to Metro or RCR to avoid expensive Paris taxis. Continental breakfast available everyday - quaint 2 person elevator - rooms are clean, updated bathrooms with marble, balconies for standing, (a bit too small... More

We spent two nights at this hotel because the other hotels in the area that we usually stay in were full. Positives: good service, great location, very clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Negatives: very small, pokey room (even for Paris). Our room on the first floor was badly affected by noise from other rooms and from above. I wouldn't... More

My parents were married in 1965 and had their honeymoon in Paris that summer, and stayed at the Claude Bernard. This year they are upon their 49th wedding anniversary. My sister and I planned a celebration in Paris. We looked online for hotels, and found the Claude Bernard! We told our mother that the Claude Bernard was available and our... More

I stayed at the hotel for three nights during March 2014. All of the hotel staff was very nice and the hotel had a nice 'feel' to it. The room was pretty average, but it did the job. The bathroom had a weird shower that put water all over the floor and the room had a few tears in the... More

Solid hotel, reasonable price, GREAT location (just blocks from Notre Dame in the Latin quarter) and several metro stops. The rooms are fairly small but normal for Europe, the amenities are modern, free euro type breakfast. There is also a really fantastic, moderately priced (approx. 20 euro each without wine) real French restaurant just around the corner Le Coupe Chou.... More
